We looked long and hard to find a unique and amazing place to stay in the Loire Valley and were so happy to find Troglodytes de la Rochere. Each cave is individually designed with chic style and comfort in mind in an idyllic setting. But sadly, due to the Covid crisis, my husband and I had to cancel our summer plans to visit this beautiful property. When I contacted Jerome to see about the possibility of a refund, he replied right away, informing us he had returned the entire amount on our credit card. I was awed by his integrity, kindness and professionalism, especially during a period when businesses are facing such difficult circumstances. When travel restrictions lift, we very much look forward to staying in one of Jerome's amazing troglodytes. Meantime, we wish him and his family the very best and encourage other travellers to consider supporting such a principled proprietor and his establishment in the future.
