We stayed in December 2021, the premises were recently renovated to accommodate very large rooms with a cozy patio garden that gives the vineyards a full breakfast, a restaurant with elaborate and well-preserved dishes, attention del persona es servicial, a swimming pool, perfect lounge for walking around the Valle de Uco, a pointy spot opposite the kitchen and barbecue area sharing the same area as the dining room.

Quietness to explore the Uco Valley.

4 of us went to the Auberge du Vin for a 1 hour wine tasting run by Linda.  She selected a few local wines of Syrah, Grenache and Syrah-Grenache blend.  Her style of education makes the wines, their origins, their flavours etc all very understandable and accessible.  Super informative, great discussion and completely objective education in that the Auberge du Vin does not sell any of the wines. All extremely reasonably priced.  I would HIGHLY recommend this as a starting point to any wine exploration in the area so that you know which vineyards to visit.  The Auberge is lovely and very hospitable, although we did not stay there as had a house booked previously, I'd be very happy to on our next trip.  Enjoy!

Delightful, educational, very approachable and reasonably priced!

Linda and Christopher are lovely, a very large, comfortable room with a huge bed, a nice swimming pool and a beautiful garden, a haven of peace with a view of the windmill, everything was perfect.

A Refuge of Peace

Chris and Linda made us very welcome, and auberge du vin is located in picturesque wine growing countryside surrounded by mountains.

The local area is very quiet at night and the rooms were large and comfortable. 

The course was expertly and smoothly delivered and I look forward to getting the results.

I would reccomend for wine courses, wine tourism, or as a base for cycling holidays. We hope to go back :)

4 nights and the WSET level 2 course

Owners Linda and Chris have established over the year a reputation. Hospitality, quality of the food  and as the name tells you , largely influenced by wine, as you can take "fine wine" lessons at the Auberge du Vin. Just at the foot of the majestic mountain called Ventoux

Wine Paradise

We were on a 6 day motorcycle tour.  As we pulled in Chris directed us to put the bikes in the garage and offered us up a bottle of wine and a few beers that were very welcome after a long day of riding.  Our meal in town was fabulous and we really appreciated Chris driving us in.  Breakfast was so relaxing and always enjoyed outside in this beautiful setting.  Loved the wine school presented by Linda.  Learned a lot about the grapes and the regions that they are grown in.  The meal following the wine school was superb and also prepared by Linda.  Our cottage was lovely and very comfortable with a full kitchen. Met some wonderful people from different areas of the world!  Definitely want and need to go back!!

Linda & Chris hosted and taught us for the WSET level 2 course (Wine & Spirits).  The focus of this review is the B&B.

Chris picked us up from Marseille Airport (MRS) and brought us back to the Auberge du Vin in a little over an hour.  The former farm house is set around a courtyard, with a lovely garden with open views across vineyards to Mt Ventoux.  There is a good sized swimming pool (with a 3-4 metre deep-end) - but at 19°C (mid May) it was too cold for us - but I'm sure it is wonderful a little later in the season when the temperatures climb.

Linda showed us to our room - a sizeable double (6ft wide bed) with the bathroom off a private corridor.  Sitting on the thrown - you have wonderful views across vineyards to the mountains.  The shower was powerful and roomy.  Nice white towels on the bathroom radiator; large heater mirror over the sink.  Plenty of power sockets. Small desk.  Shelves for your clothes.   Maybe put a wastepaper basket in the room?

The main room (in the old cow sheds?) have wonderful tall vaulted ceilings with a mezzanine  around the West/North for access to the master bedroom.  We spent a lot of time in here (as this was also the classroom) - very bright and nicely cool.

We have traditional French breakfasts - wonderful Strawberries (it's the season for them locally), fresh breads & croissants, jams etc.  They also make a mean cup of coffee (I need at least 2 to get going).

Linda & Chris make you feel like friends/house guests all the time, super relaxing.  Make sure you stay for a few days so you can check out the fantastic local restaurants and maybe even cycle up Ventoux?

Best place to take WSET courses!

Our second time here,  last time was 5 years ago. A lovely peaceful place with a pleasant garden and a pool. Superb hosts offering knowledgeable wine lessons and tasting. 
Set in vineyards off the beaten track but within easy drive of local towns.

Easter break with the extended family.

Linda and Chris, our hosts, made us feel at home with friends! They are kind and gracious, French/English speaking, with a very generous spirit. They went to extremes to make sure we were well and having a wonderful, very comfortable adventure. We booked through Joyce's Walking Tours of Ireland for this Provence Walking Wine Tour.  We enjoyed wine class with our resident wine expert Linda, winery tours, vineyard hikes watching the harvesters, a French cooking class at the Auberge, visits to nearby villages.  Our guide Pierre was fun, very well informed and modeled everything to our abilities and needs. Only 1 other person (who was delightful) was added to our group of 4.The Auberge is lovely, very clean and well kept. On a hot day we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful pool. This was a perfect choice for us and we truly feel we have new friends at the Auberge
