A very nice stay in this guest room located 2 steps from the train station and the Château de Blois. A spacious room decorated with taste, a royal breakfast with good house products, a nice little inner courtyard and the wise advice of our host to explore the area, thank you for the precious advice, I do not regret having made a hook by the Château de Chenonceaux!

What a lovely guest room in Blois!

Very good stay at Madame Galland Charming house near the city centre and the Château de Blois, we feel at home very relaxing heart for the Albertine room, room we take every stay, good breakfast enjoying a real treat!

That's great.

We were shocked by the rude attitude of the owner who doesn't know where the reception is from even though she does the hotel's work. The word most often used by the owner is: sorry this no that no...a continuous no and let's talk about having asked her to leave her luggage first considering that check-in is at 5:00 p.m.: absurd! You have to stick the suitcases and take them to the room and the price of the room is 140 € without air conditioning and fridge bar. Discrete breakfast.

Zero Hospitality

A perfect reception, a tastefully decorated house, very clean rooms (we occupied two different rooms during the stay), close to the historic center (10-15 minutes max), a friendly hostess and folding into four to please you. And I haven't yet talked about breakfast. One word to describe it: extraordinary. An abundance of delicacies, jams, yogurts, fruit salads, homemade fruit juices and cakes, not to mention breads and wineries, all in a dining room open in the garden. Thank you very much Chantal. and your husband (behind the scenes) have greatly contributed to the success of our stay.

I'd highly recommend it.

We had a great time at the Carroir House. Chantal is a very welcoming person and a good counsellor for visitors. The rooms are warm, the garden is pleasant and the whole house is tastefully decorated. The breakfast was excellent and pleasant, Chantal knows how to take care of her guests and make sure they do not miss anything. We will return without hesitation and recommend the Carroir House. A home in paradise ❤️

We arrived late. The reception and the first approaches were a little stressful and difficult. Chantal is a little stiff but then she showed herself very!pleasant and good advice. Her house is decorated with exquisite taste. Breakfast is fabulous with home jams, different kinds of bread, a little orange juice and fresh fruits; charcuterie and cheese. The rooms are spacious and everything is cleaned up. There is even tea, coffee and a little refrigerator. We had a great stay. I will be back there happy. I know the arrival time is 19:00 😉

It's a great stay.

From the pillow to the breakfast yoghurt, it's just sensational! The location leaves no wishes open. We were all absolutely thrilled and will be back someday.

This is great!

This is a charming and welcoming accommodation in the beautiful city of Blois. The room we booked (Augustine) was spacious and comfortable with a large bath that included a soaking tub (a welcome feature since we arrivied on bikes!) Our host, madame Galland, was very friendly and helpful.  A delicious breakfast was included and served in a particularly lovely room looking over the garden. 
The location is very convenient to all of the interesting sites in Blois as well as the shopping and restaurants area. The train station is a walk of only about 10 minutes and at the station one can also catch a bus or shuttle out to Chambourd - certainly a castle worth visiting. 

Charm and comfort

Our stay at the Carroir house was a delightful parenthesis. Whether it was the reception, the hostel, the location in Blois, everything was very good. The hostel is tastefully decorated and there is a very warm atmosphere. Chantal has a little extra heating, tips for dinner or to visit the area. And breakfast!!!!! What a treat. We will be back with pleasure. I highly recommend it. Thank you again Chantal for your hospitality and kindness.

A delightful parenthesis

The hotel was conveniently located in town with many restaurants within walking distance. The room was extremely large with a beautiful walk in shower. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The only complaint was the air conditioning was not available and it was warm at night   for me to sleep. If we were not on the bottom floor I would have enjoyed opening my windows but I didn’t feel comfortable doing that.

Overall great place.
