The hotel was very nice. The room was small, but cozy. Breakfast is modest, but you won't be hungry. The metro is 20 minutes away on foot. There is a great Czech restaurant nearby. Since we arrived on December 31st, we got a bottle of champagne as a gift, it was very nice. The main drawback is the lack of an elevator. The stairs are narrow and steep, it's very difficult to move with luggage. Our parking is designed for 2-3 cars, next to the public, we were lucky that there were holidays and it was free. The reception was closed early and very open, with the letter, and later on, maybe the holidays were called again.

It's quiet.

Problems with the parking, the street is full, you have to search the place, I had the car door scratched. During the night, drunk people are screaming and vomitting, rather noisy place. Lot of tourists from the east Europe.  

Problemy

The Vladar Hotel, built in the late 90s early 2000s, has been completely renovated since then and remains. There was also a restaurant at Vladar, this very Vladar, the owner of the restaurant who canoeed in the summer and took his place... the attention of the drum machine - the Chinese. From the old size of the hotel only photos remained on the walls. And so we go through the rooms, we lived in a double room on the second floor, a regular room, old furniture, clean and quite comfortable. The staff had a very polite and attentive coffee, spoke in broken English with them I don't know how they understood me. 150 meters from the hotel to the bus stop, to the city center with a single transition took about 30 minutes, quite convenient and you can't leave the car, but it's a nice place to have a nice lunch. But if you plan to have a nice lunch, you can't have a lot of it.

On the ruins of the 2000s

The hotel has no elevator, if you carry large suitcases)) we had a room under the roof) very pleasant hotel staff, very anxious about their business. in shops near the hotel (which work until 10 pm) do not accept cards. we had carelessness to pay in euros for a beer on the first night and got a delivery on the robbery course. it was unpleasant, with zero English staff from the store to explain (first sent not Czechoslovakia).

Nice hotel in a quiet area.

I'll start with the fact that the hotel is in the bedroom area of the city, around the quiet and smooth, nearby there is a supermarket Albert, a couple of normal restaurant owners very recommend an Italian restaurant (five minutes walk from the hotel). I'll start with the fact that we booked a room with two separate beds when we got to the hotel, then they gave us a room with one bed, to our outrage, the manager said that he needed to call a manager who is directly involved in booking matters to discuss the moment. After the meeting we were told that yes, it was their mistake that we had to settle in a room with only two beds until tomorrow morning, but he could only provide us with a bed with one bed, so there was a question about the bathroom tomorrow, and we could have a room with the bathroom, but we could never have seen it in the room, but I could never have seen it in the room, and I could not have seen it in the room, but I could never have seen it in the bathroom, and I could not have seen it in the room, but I could never have seen it in the room

It's a very dirty number.

We stayed in this hotel, which is called a hotel, but it doesn't really have anything!!! the only two things that it has are so much staffing and total lack of cleanliness.

The hotel has left in the full sense of the word contradictory impressions. In each characteristic you can find both positive and negative sides depending on the character of the guest. It is located quite far from the center in a quiet place, but at the same time, getting to Watsławskaya Square will not be any trouble in 20 minutes by bus and subway. If you drive in the direction from the center, all the stops are to the Walking Shops shopping center. Near the hotel there is a grocery store and a little bit further away a supermarket. There are a couple of restaurants within five minutes walk. But just walk around nowhere, I can see parks and squares nearby I didn't notice.

Contrary impressions.

Great, I'm very happy to have chosen this hotel.The staff is very friendly, good breakfast, very clean as well.It may seem that it is far from downtown but with the train/bus/tram system, in a moment you arrive in downtown.No need to rent a car.

Great because for less than 200 euros a triple for 4 nights in August is hard to find.

Star nr1 is for the very friendly and accommodating staff, star2 is for the general location, cosy atmosphere and cleanliness. We didn't  take breakfast, so can't comment on that, but what really bugs me is decades old plumbing. There are two main requirements I have from a hotel, and that's a good bed and a good shower. I fell through the slats of the bed, not doing anything I shouldn't ... and the shower is just a disaster. No thermostatic tap = constantly varying water temperature and a blast of scalding hot water as soon as anyone opens the cold tap too much ( or a couple of them at the same time). This is a low cost upgrade and a clear sign of a hotel living in its former glory days. Fix those please and I'd love to come back!
PS: maybe add another half star for pet friendliness...
