Pension Macelis also offers a comfortable guest room for short-term visitors. As a cyclist, I spent only one night in the single room and was very satisfied. The reception was friendly and the staff spoke good English. The bike could be safely parked in the garden and even covered with rain. The highlight was breakfast. The gas chamber has the charm of a large family kitchen where you can easily cook. The fresh broth was prepared before your eyes on individual request.

Good guest room

One disadvantage of this pension is location - our room was located to the busy street. On the other hand, parking is very good and free and the old town is located only about 10 minutes of walk. Breakfast was tasty and staff helpful. And of course, bed is really confortable.

Good sleep

There's a bar right at the entrance, where people smoke all the time and there's a very nasty smell!The rooms are old, no sheets, in the winter heat is wild, you open the window - noise!The bathroom is in terrible condition, the water is warm, the toilet is barely running, the toilet is falling apart!If you consider that the settlement is before 22 hours, then at the time of our arrival at 21.00 we could not get into the pension!

It's awful.

I don't recommend this hotel at all, the windows of the double glazed rooms point to a road and a very crossroads. Which is not clearly visible in the photos. We haven't even managed to sleep with the kiess balls. The service is not at the height of a hotel. The bunk is also overlooked. The hotel is clean, however, with some charm.

Noise

The structure was not very clean, but most of all, it was very noisy because the room was on a busy road. The wifi in the room was not working. Breakfast hours were supposed to be from 7.30am onwards, but we actually had to wait more than 10 minutes because the room was closed. However, breakfast was discreet.

What a noise!

Very clean basic accommodation with good restaurant downstairs.  I was leaving early to catch a bus to Cesky Krumlov, and they gave me my breakfast early, before the official breakfast was served.

Very close to efficient public transport if you don't want to spring for taxi to/from bus/train station.
