Lagun Blou Resort

we received a very warm welcome and were treated like old friends the 10 days we stayed. we had a kitchen and living room, and balcony with dining table and chairs and drying rack for damp swimwear, with a view of the cove. upstairs was the bedroom with A/C. no A/c downstairs. no tv. we brought laptops and and a few movies on a thumb drive. we rented a car from the airport and stopped at a big grocery store before driving to Playa Lagun. tap water is drinkable. there are a couple of restarants in town. the best thing about this resort besides its fabulous views of the the cove is snorkeling every day in the cove with so many parrot fish, and sea fans, and sponges and corals. also, meeting and conversing with people from all over the world, Germans on vacation or Venezuelans living and working there. Locals speak 4 languages and are very welcoming. and the resort is home to at least a dozen very curious iguanas who came to greet us everday. we spent 10 happy days at Lagun Blou. the property and parking area is secured by a gate and fence.
