Islazul Los Delfines

This 5 buildings property is well located in Varadero, lobby ine on 1st Ave and the others on Playa Ave, close to downtown and main facilities and services, restaurants, bars, by the ocean. No elevators to reach 1st,2nd,3rd floors, only granite step stairs. Great employees, nice, smiling and helpful. Property needs renovations in the rooms, bathrooms and general infrastructure, ocean salty wind deteriorates concrete, paint and rusts metals quick. Apropiate for families, couples, solos. In winter is better stay at west block by the ocean as per hot water system works great and main services are located in that area. Buffet restaurant offers daily variated menu's and servers do a great job, but when tipped it works better,...same thing at the cooking station and rest of the hotel bars. We could bring Cuban family members to stay at the hotel with us by paying cheaper rate in $CUP. There were many nationals as guests and just a few Canadians and Russians during our 2 weeks stay. We'll be back for sure probably next year!
