Guest House Old Town View

This place is quite a gem. Vacationed in Dubrovnik and stayed in this accommodation during 22 April to 27 April. Our group is a party of 5 people and we paid around €65 each for our 5 nights stay Because of the cheap rate, I did not expect much and had the thought that the place would be such a kip, however it exceeded my expectations. The apartment was very clean and the host was very accommodating and gracious. It is only 10-15 minutes away from the Old Town by feet and about 5 minutes by car. It is also 20 minutes away from the airport by car. Our host Gordana welcomed us with her homemade blueberry brandy which is delicious. Her son welcomed us on arrival and gave us tips on how to get to the Old Town and where to go for the nightlife. They just live above our apartment so it was easy to contact them. We asked if we could borrow an iron and an iron board and they happily provided them for us. The downside? STAIRS. There are no elevators in the accommodation complex. We had two 20 kg luggages plus five 10 kg hand luggages so it was quite a bit of a workout. Also, going home from the Old Town to the apartment is another workout due to the numerous steps you have to take even though our host suggested to take the bus or a taxi going home. I give this 4/5 due to accessibility. There are no lifts/elevators which can be a deal breaker to guests physically disabled.
