We booked through Despegar.com three months in advance.We arrived in San Andres at 9:30 pm with our children.When we arrived at the hotel we were told that there was no room for us (although I saw in the hotel booklet our number with a room assigned, which was given to other people who arrived earlier).A total lack of seriousness on the part of the management of this hotel.

No respect for our reservation.

The price ratio is good, the Sarie Bay area is very quiet to stay in. The facilities are new and very comfortable. The kitchen is very complete to make the most of it, with a common patio where you can enjoy the outdoors. The double room is very comfortable, with private bathroom and private fridge as well, daily cleaning. The only negative was that the hired room was very close to the administration and in the morning it is a bit difficult to rest beyond 7:30 to 8 am if you want, because you listen a lot to what they talk in a loud tone.

Good relationship quality price, quiet neighborhood.

Hostel very well located, close to a supermarket and a 10-minute walk from the main beach and the center, public transport passes outside.Excellent care from the staff and very pleasant owners, with good disposition, spacious rooms, illuminated, shared or private, with good toilet service, air conditioning, kitchen with all the utensils, very good price for what they offer.In my case I traveled alone and I looked perfect!A few minutes from the airport.A very good experience.

Great room with air conditioning. The hostel staff was nice and happy to help with anything. Completely new kitchen, BEST ive seen in a hostel. Close to a great supermarket, and only 15 minutes easy walk from the center.

Perfect stay at San Andrès

Villa Sarie Bay is a cozy posada, room with accessories, cable TV, wedding reception and indoor bathroom, the cleaning is done every 3 days, served coffee with cookies virtually all day, the reception is open 24 hours and also has wifi.

Good accommodation.

The room is well located, close to a supermarket and a 15-minute walk from the beach.They have a standoff between the owner and the workers, one offers you a tour the owner sells and then the workers sell you another tour or another rental, in the end the accounts do not meet the schedules or compromises and you have no owner because they work separately and it seems that behind the owner's back. and the room did not have a single window,

No, it was very clean the place but very well located.

as many of you might know San Andres  is not a cheap place to find accommodation so you better get ready. we got a private room and we paid 100.000 colombian pesos per night which is ok but to be honest we hated the kitchen it looked pretty bad and disorganised. the room had its own bathroom (which was ok but looked not very clean) and we were afraid they didn't change linen. and it is understandable because the same person at the counter is the same person cleaning rooms and bathrooms. we received our room 15mins passed 3 and check-in is supposed to be at 3pm! 
good location though: 2 mins walk from the nearest supermarket and the street right in front of it it's the main road and you'll find either bus or cab in just a few minutes. 15mins  away (walking) from the downtown.

it's ok for the price

This guest house is a good find considering the price. We rented a room that sleeps four people and each paid 40,000 Colombian pesos per night (changes seasonally), which was quite good value for what we received.

Our room features:
- private bathroom
- two single beds and one double bed
- mini-fridge
- small wardrobe
- clean sheets and pillow
- room fan and air conditioner

Guest house features:
- shared kitchen (fully stocked with cooking and dining supplies)
- free wifi
- outdoor shower
- outdoor common area (reasonable for relaxing and/or dining)
- common bathrooms
- grocery store 3 minutes away (walking)
- public bus service runs past the front door of the guest house

The guest house has several private rooms and also a dormitory-style area. We arrived very early in the morning but were not able to check in early (though we didn't notify the guest house that we'd be there early). However, we were able to leave our luggage at the front desk and they were guarded for us until check-in time, an we did the same at check-out. Even though we finished our day well after check-out hours, there was an outdoor shower that we could use to rinse our swim-gear and get some of the salt off before travelling at night.

The front desk workers were always kind, helpful, and patient. They're very knowledgeable about the area, activities, and how to get around. We travelled around the island by bus, which picks up right in front of the guest house. It's also a 15-minute from the airport and downtown. The location isn't great, but it's easy enough to access the whole island from this location and there aren't generally planes flying late at night, so there shouldn't be much noise disturbance. Our room was at the front of the guest house, right beside the common area. If you like to sleep early, you should request a room at the back of the house, as there can be a lot of light and noise in this room if other guests are staying up late to socialize.

You should note that it's unsafe to drink tap water on San Andres Island.

Good for the price

The hotel is located 20 - 30 minutes walk from the city centre. There is a kitchen (not very pleasant) so there is the possibility of cooking and refrigerators in the rooms. The rooms are well maintained, with air conditioning. The backyard that serves as a dining room is filled with garbage. The staff does not speak English.
