This property is also known as Fairmont Beijing. I arrived really late around 9PM and left around 8AM, and thus I did not see much nor did I see the surrounding areas of the hotel. Check in was quick and efficient. They acknowledged my Platinum membership and I was awarded an upgraded room and free breakfast, which was highly appreciated. My suite was HUGE for just one person. I liked the massage chair in the room. I think i spent at least an hour in that chair, SO GOOD. The suite felt old and tired but still had that luxurious feeling to it. The suite had two seater sofa, ottoman for the bed, large walk in closet, and huge working table. I had the best sleep here during my China trip last April. The bed was so comfortable, the pillows were great, the blankets was nice and the linen felt fresh. The bathroom was really spacious with huge bathtub and 2 wash basins. The meals served at the hotel was also tasty. I ordered in room dining and it was good. The breakfast the following morning was also great. The breakfast buffet offered a wonderful variety of both western options and local specialties. This property easily scores a 5. Keep up the good works
