The Vine Retreat

We spent a weekend at the vine retreat and had an amazing experience. The food is really and Robert the owner can take you around the farm to show you where each item on your plate was grown.

This is a great place to relax and unwind with a great pool and really good yoga spaces. 

I would recommend renting a scooter for ease of access to Kep. 

I was one of the first customer that had the experience with the new staff.
Had a lovely time and the opportunity to calm down. The pool, yoga as well as the meals were amazing. Host is a canadian and really care about the customers. I highly recommend the experience

The setting is truly beautiful, peaceful and inviting. The building and pool is nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains, on grounds filled with flowers and fruit trees. The main building houses the rooms and offers two lounge areas; one for dining with a bar and one more casual for lounging on the top floor. All rooms are a little different; clean, comfortable, with space to get unpacked and mosquito nets, all with ensuite bathrooms that comes with towels, hot showers and soap. One thing that sets this place apart is its attention to detail; my room had beautiful floor tiles, there were eco-friendly reusable bin-liners, reusable bamboo straws in lieu of disposable plastics and such. 
There were no scheduled yoga classes when I was there, but I used the yoga studio for self-practice daily and I had access to mats, blocks, fans, etc. I also enjoyed going for morning runs in the area, there is some beautiful scenery to take in.
The staff is more than accommodating; the owner Robert is friendly and helpful, as is all members of staff, they really do go the extra mile to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I was invited to join in when they were playing games in celebration of the Khmer New Year, and I was surprised with a cake on my birthday! They were also happy to inform me of what various activities and sights were available in the vicinity, and I visited a nearby pepper-farm for a tour. The general manager, Sarann is the heart of the plac and an amazing woman all-round. Her cooking is amazing and she was happy to cook me up special meals off menu when circumstances allowed. For breakfast they served up delicious homemade muesli, homemade peanut butter, eggs, pancakes, fruit and proper coffee. There is a small lunch menu available with a selection of dishes and snacks (including vegetarian options), very reasonably priced. For dinner a different menu of 3 dishes was offered each night. All food was delicious, healthy and freshly prepared.  
Overall, during my stay I felt more like I was visiting family than I staying at a hotel. Highly recommended!

I choose the Vine Retreat to do my own retreat, located around 15 km way from Kep but easy to reach by Tuk-tuk.
I read some reviews and I didn't know exactly what to expect. In fact, the place was recently bought by a Canadian guy who have been doing refurbishment works for the past 3 months.
It is a charming, rustic place with very good conditions. The food is simply delicious and the peace and tranquillity is indescribable.

Arriving at night time with lighting down the driveway, around the pool and looking back at the building from the pool this place looks magical. Being a small hotel located out of town on a farm the quiet was expected but also there where only a few other guests. We found out that they had only just reopened. Over the next few days we saw that there where several projects underway. There where workers there all day everyday clearing undergrowth and planting. The pool is large and shallow, for relaxing not diving. The yoga is BYO but if your prepared for that there are heaps of ideal spaces. The upper deck of the main building has an amazing view at sunrise. The highlight was the food.
