Tarnovski Dom Guest Rooms

I really like this place and even extended a night. It's a standard European apartment. It's on the main street but toward the end in a quiet area. It has a wedding dress store on one side and a hardware store on the other. I'm the only one here right now and have the apartment to myself. In my room, I've got two twin beds, a table and chairs, a balcony, tv, heater, coffee maker, closet, etc. The bathroom is across the hall. Everything is clean. Nice sheets and towels. Good, secured wifi which is free. The location is great. It's a five -minute walk to the tourist information center. It's easy walking to the old shopping district. The fortress is on the other side of town (about 2 kilometers away). Walking there through the old section of town gives a good city tour. I love fortresses, and this one does not disappoint. They're doing a free sound and light show there tomorrow night which I will attend. I'm doing a day trip out to Ruse and the stone churches near Ivanovo tomorrow. There are food places all around - restaurants, small eateries, convenience stores, etc. Just below the apartment is a free parking zone which I'm using. No problems there. It's a nice all-around place to stay in a fun city -- and for a good price. I'd gladly stay here again.
