Green Hostel Ilhabela

In february 2020 I arrived in this hostel and stayed until march 2020, for 4 weeks. This hostel is in my opinion the best place to stay if you go to Ilhabela. It is cheap, but doesn't feel as a cheap hostel, well maintained, a big living room with tv and netflix, kitchen with everything you need, a cozy balcony with hammocks and an amazing terrace where you can barbecue, have a drink, sit in the sun or just chill in a hammock. There are three shared rooms, two big mixed dorms with bunk beds, and one room for females. The rooms are spacious enough and always clean. The staff cleans the bathroom and toilet of the dorms at least 2 times a day. If you want more privacy there are suites. Two for a couple (and kids) and one for a family. The location of the hostel is perfect. Located in Pereque, close to the ferry to Sao Sebastiao, close to the beach and central located if you want to go either to the north or the south of the island. Also if you want to do a trail, visit the waterfalls or go to across the island to the otherside by jeep. The supermarket is just around the corner and it is a big one, they have everything. The owner is a great guy, the cleaning lady is the sweetest woman ever! And the volunteers and other staff are always friendly and helpfull! They socialize a lot with you. You got the feeling that it is a big family house. Great vibes! Thanks for everything and we will meet again!
