Great place for holiday

Main bedroom window had net curtain that always let in the light and didn't feel very private, seemed strange as the other window had a proper curtain
Breakfast is basic and limited, just eggs, a bit of ham, bread and jam
Unbelievably you are not allowed to have more than one cup of coffee with breakfast, if you do you have to pay. This is a totally unnecessary and unpleasant restriction and customers expect better than this from a hotel these days. This is supposed to be a hotel not a prison!
Room was not cleaned/changed at all during my stay despite me specifically requesting it. Next day the excuse was that I hadn't left the room key and they had lost the second key. Brilliant...
One morning there was no hot water, had to have a cold shower.
The girl on reception who speaks English is smiling and pleasant but ultimately useless and just not interested in providing good customer service. More interested in enforcing the 'one cup of coffee only ' restriction.
Overall this 'hotel' was an endurance not an enjoyment. It could be a wonderful place to stay with different staff and different attitudes to customer care. As it is it is definitely best avoided! So lucky I was only staying a few nights!

Very disappointing. More of a prison than a hotel

You can find everything to get relax, good Bosnian food in the hotel Nova Bentbasa) River side and only 1 minuts to wolk to city, great)

Amazing place, Nova Bentbasa, Sarajevo

The hotel was great, but the staff were FANTASTIC. Extremely nice, polite, and went out of their way to improve our stay or help us out on multiple occasions. They cooked us breakfast when we overslept and missed it, were extremely helpful when I fell ill and needed to stay for an additional night (offering soup, hot tea, moving my bags for me as I needed to switch rooms, etc), making us coffees on the house for our early morning departure, service with a smile in the restaurant, ordering us a taxi to get to the train station, etc. 

The hotel was nice too, of course. Very clean, great value for money, and a short walk into the old town. The breakfast was a light omelette, toast, coffee, and juice - which was more than enough for us, given the hearty dinners we ate in Sarajevo! 

The outdoor deck looked like a great spot, if the weather had been warmer!

Good hotel, GREAT staff

the room is a bit outdated, that is the only reason it did not recieve 5 points (it could use a bit of fresh paint). But it is clean, its modern and the reception is friendly. Also the breakfest is great, the staff is friendly. It has a great location (8 minut walk to Baščaršija) and plenty of parking available.

A lovely hotel

I recommend the Nova Bentbasa Hotel to anyone. The hotel is located along the local river, where you can enjoy all the benefits of the location in the fresh air. Only 5 minutes walk to the city center. The cordiality of the staff exceeds all expectations. Food is top quality! Especially the house specialties. Highly recommend. Thank you so much for the best pie in the world.

Perfect!

The hotel is in a fantastic location, only a short walk to the old town and most attractions. The younger staff spoke really great English, was a little difficult after they went home for the day. Breakfast is cooked to order and coffee is made to order as well! It’s a great setting over the river. The room itself was clean and spacious, also a nice view over the river. Pillows weren’t so comfortable but they had extras. Shower is great! Parking available out the front. Couple of small things to note - if you’re on the top floor, the wifi is not so good (there was no router on this level, only on the one below) and the tv was cutting in and out a bit (but wasn’t a huge issue as it was only on for 10 minutes after a long day exploring!) I’d definitely stay here again. 

Fantastic location

I stayed here for five nights, for a conference nearby. The room I had looked out onto the road, which wasn't an issue at all despite the windows not quite keeping all sounds out (you could, for example, hear the frogs in the river). The restaurant was also very busy and you could hear the sounds, but I didn't mind and slept very well anyway. 

Breakfast was basic; this was my first time in Bosnia so I'm not sure if what they offered is standard. You could get an egg omelett or some white bread with marmelade and butter. Also either a cup of (herbal) tea or a coffee. Since the breakfast room staff had little English (and I have no knowledge whatsoever of any of the langugages spoken in Bosnia, sadly) there was no way of asking for anything else, which may well have been possible. 

The location is in easy walking distance to the old town. 

They didn't clean the room daily, but that was not an issue for me. The room was still very clean. 

I tried to use the TV but there seemed to be only one channel. 

The wifi signal was not very good, but with some patience and careful positioning in the room I got all the info from the internet that I required.

Nice place for a business stay

Room was very nice. WiFi & Parking are provided on the premise. The employees always tried to help. The front desk seemed to only be covered sporadically by its regular employee. Close to old city.

Saravejo location very good

Hotel is nicely situated 5 mins waking distance away from the old city and within walking distance from the main attractions; cable cars, shopping malls, old city, Muslim, Catholic, Orthodox and Jewish religious sites, main city hall, museums, tour offices, etc 

The hotel is also just next to Ambassadors Avenue; a 5 km long park leading all the way to the iconic Ottoman goat bridge build around 400 years ago. Good for morning walks and lite hiking. The Ambassadors Avenue is basically showing all the names of ambassadors’ served in Sarajevo and came to this spot to plant a lime tree. 

Hotel is clean and new with a good value for money. Rooms are spacious with a modern simplistic touch and facing the river. 

The vicinity holds its own restaurant and terrace facing the river which is amazing. Breakfast is basic to get you starting your day but convenient enough (keep in mind the value for money your paying is unmatched around Sarajevo) 

Staff are friendly and you will make friends in no time. Owner of the hotel; Mr Haris is an exceptional character who offered us free commuting from and to airport. Very nice touch from the management there. 

I would recommend this hotel for any solo and young/old couple who would like to have a unique traveling experience with a local touch and good value for their buck. Moreover, the location is amazing making it within reach to many places around Sarajevo. Surely going to visit again.
