Recommended location very close to Salzburg and St. Gilgen. Quiet though with a bit of noise on the highway q passes. The lovely owner. The only thing to comment is q hay q pay in cash. No card is accepted.

Very pleasant.

We spent 5 days in this boarding house with the bed and breakfast formula, in an apartment. We were 3 adults and 2 children. The boarding house is just outside the town centre of Faistenau, a small typical mountain village, 20 minutes from Salzburg. It is family-run by the Ebner family, very courteous and available. The apartment we took is furnished in the typical mountain style with the floor and clear wooden ceiling with beams in view. Very comfortable and equipped with, among other things, sinks, microwave, electric glass cooking. The garden is very comfortable and equipped with children's toys. The atmosphere is very characteristic and even if the boarding house is on the main street, there is no rumor. It is definitely a very positive experience.

Very characteristic location and very gentle handling.

Our stay in pension Wald was overall very pleasant. The apartment was spotless, the owner is very welcoming and was very concerned about our initial problem with the fridge, which was solved promptly. The kitchen boasts above standard equipment such as electric grill or a dishwasher which we had not anticipated. Beds were very comfortable, rooms big (2 separate bedrooms), which was very convenient while travelling with our teenage kids. The only drawback was the bedrooms facing a busy road, it was very daunting to open the window at night as the cars passing by are really noisy and make it impossible to get a good night´s sleep. Very advisable to ask for the apartment facing the back garden.

Clean, neat but noisy sleep...

Comfortable accommodation. From here you need a car or a bus to get to the centre. We took the bus and we had no difficulty. Gentle and caring staff, good breakfast; clean and quiet. There is a ski slope nearby but we have not used it.

I stayed at this boarding house for two nights and I must say that I felt really good.The owner is very kind and attentive.She speaks very good English and is always available to offer advice on what to visit and where to park in Salzburg.The rooms are very clean, comfortable and very warm.The breakfast included in the price, very honest, was very abundant, almost a lunch.I recommend it to everyone.

A pleasant and comfortable experience

The warmth, the kindness, combined with a beautiful clean and comfortable room, a very large and cozy garden, an excellent breakfast and plenty of wifi available and parking, if you want to visit the lakes and the city of Salzburg, well your search is over.

Pleasant experience

We spent 4 nights in the pension forest. We were immediately thrilled that we got such a great room with a terrace and deliciously delicious and sufficient breakfast at a fairly affordable price! The breakfast is prepared at the desired time even if you want to have breakfast late in the morning. The rooms are very nicely furnished and look very nice and not worn out at all. Cleanliness is written in this house very new. It was very clean and I wouldn't have a single dust miter;-) Even in the large garden with many seating options you can spend some very comfortable hours in the evening.:-) We can also find a very nice place to stay!:-) We can also find a very nice place to stay. It's a great breakfast.

We spent 4 nights in the Forest Pension and were extremely satisfied. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, the room is equipped with a generous terrace (including seating and table) and relatively plenty of space. Everything is exceptionally clean and does not give any unusual impression - on the contrary. Breakfast was prepared at our desired time and made the name breakfast spension all the honour.
