This is one of the most beautiful apartments we have experienced in more than 38 years visiting the Austrian Alps. The location, the facilities, the warm welcome - everything is perfect. Maria and Franz are lovely hosts. They are always there to advise on the best walking routes and offering tips. They really are interested in their guests and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our apartment was wonderful. Great views, everything we needed, lovely comfortable beds. We really felt at home here. The breakfasts are wonderful. Fresh bread rolls, various cheeses and meat, and eggs to order. We are already trying to work out when we can return. Thanks Maria and Franz for making our holiday so special. 

Wonderful experience in every sense

We had a very pleasant 3-days stay in this well located hotel (5mn' walk from the village-center). Maria & Franz were very welcoming hosts, always prepared to bring full information needed. Great view from our room on the mountains. The room was large enough, very clean, simple but functional, having a large balcony. We fully recommend this hotel.

Very pleasant stay in a familial atmosphere

We had a weekend here with a group of 10 adults and a child and were very friendly and well served. The host couple is very friendly and treats you as a welcome guest. The rooms or apartments are very well equipped, very clean and comfortable with a balcony and a wonderful view. The breakfast and service here are very good and you can easily get as much as you want.

Super nice accommodation under the best management

Beautiful guesthouse a five minute walk out of Alpbach. The lady who runs this guesthouse is very hospitable. Nothing is too much trouble!

The room was well appointed with a balcony.

The breakfast is a lovely continental style with the option of cooked eggs. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely Guesthouse

This is a great place to spend peaceful time in the mountains. Gastehaus Larch placed in a quiet location just a 5-minute walk from the very center of Alpbach. While our trip in Austria, we stayed there for only 2 nights and regret that it was not possible to stay longer and we had to move to the next place. Very nice and lovely Maria upgraded our room to big apartments with living room, kitchen and huge balcony facing 3 sides. The exit to the balcony was both from the bedroom and from the living room. The view is amazing. We will definitely return again.

Great place!

We had a 2 bedroom apartment with small kitchen.  Everything worked and the kitchen was appropriately equipped.  Showers fine, powerful enough with enough hot water.  Rooms quiet - a very important point for us - we never heard anything from any others guests.  Breakfast is overseen by Fr. Larch herself, making sure guests have what they need or want.  The food selection is fairly traditional- cereals, bread, cheese and slices of ham.  Fresh fruit salad is also available with plain Joghurt oder fruit Joghurt.  The views from our room were lovely.  You also get a guest card, giving free access to the cable cars in the area and free entrance to the swimming pool in Wörgl - which is well worth the 25 min drive.  All in all a very pleasant stay.

Lovely guesthouse, personal service.

The apartment on the top floor is very spacious and cozy. In the kitchen everything is available. There is a very large balcony with magnificent views, a table and chairs. The whole house is very tastefully decorated, there are beautiful flowers, everything very well taken care of, lovingly and with heart. The housekeeper is very attentive and makes a great effort to make the guest feel comfortable. Since we value a quiet apartment, she has given us an apartment different from the one originally intended to meet this wish. On request, every morning unleavened bread was hung on the tiled bag.

Excellent, cozy, raw, spacious, up to date, classy!

It is located 5 min walk from Alpbach centre.
We stayed 3 nights i a double room.
The room was big and spacious with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom. The view from the balcony was fantastic.
Good breakfast and good service. The only minus for us was that there was no A/C in the room.

Really good

As everyone says the Larch is clean, modern, close to town, has a wonderful view and parking. The room was a decent size but, with wooden floors we found it a bit noisy; we heard everything our neighbors,  an older couple, did.
My only real problem was the owner. We turned up without a reservation. She gave us a price 20 Euros over the internet price. When we protested she brought it down 5 Euros, saying the extra 15 was to pay for cleaning the room. ??  We asked for a quiet room and she offered one near the street and overlooking the parking, even though she only had one other room occupied. Then she relented and gave us one upstairs facing the back, and with a view. When we were having our meagre breakfast the next morning she waited until we were finished before offering us eggs. By then it was too late. She did have time to push us to pay cash for the room. After much discussion, while we were eating, she finally accepted a credit card. And turned up with a very good card reader, so technology was not the problem. The whole experience was uncomfortable and left me with a bad feeling.
