A hotel of robaron,Y el dueno es racista.First day,in the hotel Pay once when you get out the dueno wants to pay a round.The beds are very dirty.The boys are crazy.The videos no fucionas.ojo!!!!!!

This is a black hotel.

Close to the city center. Good hotel mid-range. The area is quiet. Not in the center. A few blocks from a park and a few museums. The breakfast is simple but for all tastes. The service is good.

It's a normal hotel with servicemen, well located in front of the fire station and a few meters from the city center, has many bars nearby, no it's a luxurious place, no if you serve breakfast because I at least don't hire it and we have breakfast in the bar next door.

Hello to all the stories that I enjoy about this hotel! it is very comfortable, it has a good breakfast, it is well located and the people are very friendly..the staff is in every detail, and it is very clean, it is in the middle of the city near the attractions.

Excellent hotel, really would be very well located in the city of San Juan, the attention was excellent and very attentive to all the details at all times we would really go back and recommend it, very familiar.

This was a good choice for the price and the location. And also for the very good attention of the staff. Very helpful all of them, specially that the young lady (a student) knows her province well.
We liked the unassuming rooms and the good beds. The hot water all day.

The breakfast included in the price was correct and you could have more of everything. As we were with a car, it was better to park near there than to be in the centre of the town.

There is a very good restaurant near, recommended by the staff.

Good for the price and the location

Not a two-star hotel.  Maybe a one-and-a-half star hotel.  We stayed a total of four nights here because every other room in San Juan was booked.  Our bathroon had a strong sewer smell and to use the toilet you had to reach into the water tank to pull up the flapper valve.  It was repaired 36 hours after we asked them to.  The WIFI connection in our room was unreliable, coming a going.  The only way to get a good WIFI connection was to sit in the hall way outside the front desk.  The room phones cannot be used to dial outside the hotel; if you don't have a cell phone, you are out of luck.  Room lighting is very dim; difficult to read by it.  No air conditioning, so the widow must be left open, allowing street noises in making it difficult to sleep.  The overall maintenance of the hotel is poor: many cracks in the bathroom walls, scruffy carpeting, and the bathroom door jammed requiring extra effort to close.  
On the plus side, they did clean the rooms as best as could be expected, clean sheets and towels each day.  The contenental breakfast was OK, not great.  The morning coffee was good.  The afternoon/evening desk clerk was attentive and spoke good English.  The rest of the staff was so-so.  You should do your best to find some other place.

Work hard to find some other lodgings

We chose Hotel Nuevo San Francsico due to the rather positive description in Lonely Planet.
O boy were we wrong. At first it seemed like an average 2-star hotel but the service they offered was horrible. 
First of all the bed and the pillows were the most uncomfortable ever. For example the pillow was as thick as an average napkin. We actually brought our inflatable pillows from the car because it was otherwise impossible to sleep.
But the worst problem was the noise. The hotel is situated by a large avenue and as the windows were crappy, it seemed like your bed is in the middle of the street when you closed your eyes. The active traffic ended ca 1 o'clock at night and started again ca 5 o'clock in the morning. So we practically did not sleep that night.
Can't say anything about the location though. We arrived San Juan in the evening and left next morning, did not go sightseeing there. 
Couple of positive things also. The staff was very friendly and tried really hard. Besides that we were able to park our car in a closed courtyard ca 1 block away. And there was an excellent grill-restaurant nearby - not particularly well furnished but the grill-mix for two was heavenly and really abundant.
So if you need rest at night, don't go there.
