Super stay at the weekend Kim and Theresa very welcoming. Room and bathroom all fine and lovely and clean. Great breakfast included and the hotel is in a perfect location for the beach or the town - would certainly recommend and visit again

Came down for a few days holiday. Fantastic reception by Kim and Theresa who are truly lovely people. Fantastic location right by the beach and a great room. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Next time we're in Margate we know we're we staying,!

Kim and Theresa are very welcoming very friendly and  very  helpful.  A very relaxing place to stay. Good breakfast. Close to train station across the road from the beach great location! The lounge is a great place to sit and relax it’s very cosy

Lovely hotel, very clean, lovely people who run it very helpful nothing is to much trouble, short walk to beach and bars and if I went back to Margate I would stay there again perfect place for a break away.

First trip to Margate and loved it! This hotel is very close to the train station, beach and Dreamland. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. We were a little nervous as our bathroom was separate from the room- it actually turned out better as  it was right next door with a main door that other guests have no need to use. Brilliant. Would stay again.

Myself and my husband stayed for 2 nights in the top floor double en-suite with Sea View. The welcome when we arrived was very friendly, we were shown up to our room straight away and given all of the information we needed for our stay. The room was a good size with an en-suite shower room. All very clean and bright. There was also tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi in our room (good signal throughout our stay). Breakfast was included - cereal, toast, full English, tea, coffee and juice and the portions were very good and we were offered more of anything if we wanted it. 
I would return without hesitation and would happily recommend The Somerville to my friends and family.

Myself and partner stayed for three nights from the 7th till the 10th August, this is a very friendly family run B&B. The owners are very welcoming from the start and happy to advise where the best places are to go and the best places to eat. Breakfast is included wich consists of a choice of cereal tea or coffee and orange juice and a full English with toast. It is a short walk from the train station around 2 minutes and around 5 - 10 minutes into the town. The B&B is situated directly on the seafront. We had an ensuite room which was lovely, as it was very hot when we stayed a fan was provided in the room. Great value for money and the couple are lovely. I know if we return to margate we will definitely be returning to this B&B.

hosts were lovely and friendly it’s a traditional bnb opposite the seafront. not modern with no air con but it didn’t affect our stay and we would stay again.

no parking at hotel but we managed to park at the station. street parking would be impossible so don’t rely on that. 
breakfast was super early would like slightly later.

This traditional B&B close to the station and the beach has a warm and friendly welcome. The was comfortable with TV and kettle. The breakfast was lovely the whole full English served as traditional as you want. 

We stayed for two nights, bed & breakfast ,  our room was at the top floor with a bit of sea view.
The location is excellent, 1 min from the train station and 4 min from the National Express bus stop...
It is a family run business, very friendly couple,  they made us feel confortable since we arrived...
The breakfast has been served downstairs in the basement include full english breakfast choise of cereals and orange juice.
Very pleasant stay especially if you travel as a couple ... the only negative part was the fact that due the hot weather we slept with the window open and we could hear the cars noise as the hotel is located on the main road.
