This lovely apartment is located smack dab in central Madrid. Everything is within walking distance. The apartment is located on a pedestrian street so if you take a cab from the airport (fixed rate of 30€) you should ask them to drop you off at Calle Mayor 20...then it's only a few steps to the pedestrian street. Look for Apartamentos on the doorbell, ring to have them let you in, go up a few steps, walk straight toward the back wall to the elevator ( we didn't know about this) and take it to the second floor. The apartment that we had was #3 (on the fifth floor). It was spotless, light and airy, comfortable, had a well equipped kitchen with a washer/ dryer, stove, huge refrigerator, and a dishwasher. It also had a terrace with a roof top view. I would recommend this apartment.
