El Sol 

We stayed here for one night and if we had not needed to get nearer to Malaga airport for our return flight we would have stayed for longer. What a bargain! 50 euros for a great room and a delicious breakfast. The room was large, spotlessly clean with a private terrace with a table and chairs and a briliant mountain view. The bathroom was equally clean and spacious. The public rooms were of a very high standard and we enjoyed being with the Spanish guests who were there for the spa facilities, of which there are some at the hotel and others nearby in Lanjaron's famous spa. We didn't eat dinner or lunch at the hotel as we were visiting friends, but the menu looked good and was reasonably priced at 11 euros. There is sufficient parking behind the hotel. The town is delightful being full of hotels and shops but only a few restaurants and bars as most visitors eat and drink in their hotels. The surrounding area is very beautiful and there are many delightful mountain drives and walks and villages to explore. It is also very easy to get to Granada and the Costa Tropical. We can't wait to go back.
