It's pretty hard to find a good deal for your money in Lima as most hostels are slightly overpriced. This hostel has a great location in Miraflores and is within walking distance to most activities. This is quite a rare feature as just a few barrios (neighborhoods) over, it can be quite dangerous for women to walk around at night. As for prices, we always paid what we were quoted. Breakfast was included. Taxi service to the airport was 20 USD (60 soles) and went well. Same for the taxi to the bus station to get to Huaraz. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite good in general. We had big fluffy baguettes one day and scrambled eggs another. We got a 3 bedded room even though we had asked for a 2-bedded, but were charged the normal price. The rooms were not the best decorated, nor the most fresh-smelling and could use a lick of paint. However, the bathrooms were clean and the shower was hot with good pressure. We didn't have any problems sleeping, but then again we are good sleepers. Hope you enjoy your stay here!
