SPOT ON 2128 Hotel Anugerah 

The location is fine and the building adequate but what really makes The Anugerah Hotel a stand out budget option in Bondowoso is Angie and her staff: bright, cheerful, welcoming and endlessly obliging. I stayed 2 nights. I booked a motorbike driver through the hotel to visit the Ijen crater and afterwards a waterfall and coffee factory. All the arrangements were as promised: the driver was on time, I received a packed breakfast, the driver waited as long as I wished to stay at the crater (4 hours) and took me to the other sights. My room was simple and basic but clean (as Mt Raung was erupting at the time the staff went to great lengths to remove any volcanic ash)! The food in the restaurant was perfectly ok (and portions a good size). If you're after something more exciting, there are several options within walking distance.
