Diamantis Studios 

Stayed here albeit for only a couple of nights , I broke my ankle so had to move into town .....anyway back to the studios, We were greeted by George the owner after a short transfer from the airport, he didn’t ask to see passports or anything, just showed us to our room ...number 6 . This is up quite a hill and some stairs , this shouldn’t be a problem if you are reasonably active , the room was basic , yet clean , nice sized balcony with a fabulous view of Skiathos town . We walked into town the first night and it took 5 /10 minutes , there is a taverner on route , a supermarket and a health centre ! Back to the studios , there is a nice pool area , with a bar that opened in the afternoon......we didn’t struggle to get a bed. All in all the Diamanté’s is good value for money , it is a typical Greek studios, if you are expecting 5 star accommodation then this is not for you , but for a peaceful, charming , basic clean and very good value then give it a try I will certainly be back , once ankle mended !
