Hotel und Restaurant Windmüller 

The four of us took dinner at this better than average restaurant. In the hangover from Christmas the menu was for shortened. I had a shrimp salad which had real brown shrimps rather than thawed deep frozen freshwater prawns flown in from the Far East. A good sauce and light salary washed down by a particularly good Prosecco. For my main I had sliced brisket of beef slow cooked in red wine and a sensible selection of vegetables. It melted in the mouth washed down by a surprising fruity Italian house merlot. For puddings I had a concoction of hot plumbs and almond inpregnated ice cream. Others had a mixed Fish dish and the house pinogrigio and the panacota. A really good meal at good price.
