Though it is called hostel, it is more like a hotel. I probably got the best room on the highest floor on the farthest end of the corridor so I got a pretty decent view over the neighbourhood with lots of windows! Room was spacious for just one person. Got a desk and a wardrobe which was perfect for me to hang clothes and did some work on my laptop. Yet, there’s no water kettle in the room. The location is near the Belgian Quarter so there are a lot of restaurants, cafes and boutiques nearby. Very close to underground and trams as well. Only 5 minutes to HBF by tram. Breakfast provided a great selection, I’d say it is a typical German breakfast. Check in was fast and staff was friendly. I need to leave the hotel early so I couldn’t make it to breakfast. I requested a breakfast kit and I am surprised by the portion!
