Chatel Tour organises WHERE you stay in Chatel, this was the second time that I have used this firm to book accommodation for me. Last week I had an apartment in the centre of the village where I could cook for myself. 5 minutes to the supermarket, or 10 minutes to the skilift (less if I took the free bus!).My apartment this year was in "Lou Candres", a lovely building made up of 8-10 separate little "flats", all with kitchen area with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster, pots & pans, crockery-in short, all you could need! Bathroom & separate toilet were both very roomy, and I had ample space to move around in general. For people taking apartments in France you need to know that you must take your sheets, pillowcase & towels with you!-funnily enough, no-one tells you this in advance!
