LEsperance 

Fantastic service, sea views and self-catering near the old town in Cannes and looking across to Eglise Notre-Dame de l’Espérance on the hill that overlooks Cannes. I choose Residence L'Esperance for a business trip associated with the Cannes Film Festival. I was looking for a small self-contained and self-catered apartment within walking distance of Bd de la Croisette and the railway station both in Cannnes. These apartments delivered on both and offered clean, modern and simple layout, including air conditioning, refrigerator, cooktop, oven, kettle, coffee maker, television and free WIFI. Although there was only a sofa bed, it was comfortable, and the shutters on the double layered balcony doors kept the noise, heat and light out while sleeping. The ensuite bathroom had a bath and shower however the shower fitting needed adjustment for a better flow. Jeremy, the host, was welcoming and accommodating, especially as I did plan to arrive after the stated reception hours - taking me up to the room, showing the facilities and then leaving me to explore the town. For the business traveller or for a weekend getaway, Residence L'Esperance does offer value for money.
