Best memories of my life! Miss this place every time I drink rum. No rules, just great times, views, food, and drinks. Cheese cake was the best. Snorkeling, clean beaches, island boat rides, amazing sun rises. I hope they add a live camera to this bar one day

We stayed at The Haven for 4 nights. While we were there we ate every meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner at Big Tree. Every meal we had was great. All the meals I had were Vietnamese cuisine but my family had lots of the western offerings like, pizza, pasta and burgers which always looked great too. I stole quite a few pieces of pizza from my daughter and they were particularly good.

A little tricky to get to through Bai Xep, unless you're approaching from the beach at low tide, but a lovely picturesque spot. They had their wood fired oven ready when we were there, so it seemed rude not to try the pizza. A fabulous, delicious choice! 

I went there with 2 friends for a long weekend. We stayed there for 4 days (Haven Hotel) in bright, spacious and clean rooms. The Big Tree bistro is a lovely spot with great quality of food (both Western and local). Cocktails are very nice and made of good quality spirits and fresh ingredients. The view is to die for (literally on the beach 😍). Special thanks to both Julie and Dan for making our stay incredible from breakfast to late-night drinks!

Had a great meal with wonderful staff who were able to accommodate us (and our vegan diet) perfectly. Really fast service too! Probably one of the best pizzas we’ve had here in Vietnam (even without cheese it was still really really great!). Pricing is as you would expect to be sitting next to the ocean and the food matched the price well. Loved the choice of craft beers and next time we will stay! 

Quy nhon city is pretty void of western style places to eat and relax, so if you’re in the Bai Xep area it’s probably the best spot to get a western style dining experience! 

10/10 will recommend.

Having stayed in Quy Nhon for the past week or so, I was informed of a beach sided eatery that served the best Fish and Chips this side of Grimsby. Off I trundled to this fantastic location, the most friendly staff and outstanding Vietnamese take on good old Blighty’s fish and chips. Even got a side order of homemade tartare sauce. I’ve now worked my way through the entire menu and I’m yet to be disappointed by any of the dishes. Well done all concerned. Can’t recommend it enough. 

Best restaurant at Bai Xep. The green mango salad was delicious and so was the Banh Xeo. They fire up the wood fire oven for great pizza too. Atmosphere is just right. We ate here the whole time. It is great for families with fussy eaters with a number of western dishes done well. The Vietnamese food is delicious.

We ate here a few times whilst staying in Bai Xep. Food (local and western) was always well cooked, colourful and tasty. Great area to eat, overlooking the beach and sea. You could stay all day. The prices are a little more than we had been paying elsewhere so far in Vietnam, but the food quality and portions made you feel you got your money's worth. The food and drink service from everyone was great. 

Big Tree Bistro overlooks beautiful  Bai Xep beach. You will find shade under the trees with a cool sea breeze. Lovely and friendly staff. Great menu with a wonderful selection. The wood fired pizzas are fantastic and worth a try.

Great food (loved the coconut curry) and yummy homemade ginger beer. The basil syrup and lime juice was very refreshing, too. Lovely staff and an awesome view, overlooking Bai Xep beach. So relaxing! We went there several times during our four-day stay at Casa Marina resort.

Tasty western and Vietnamese food with an epic view of Bai Xep beach. Wait staff are extremely friendly, well versed in English, and eager to converse. Local villagers understandably seemed less than thrilled to have westerners navigate through their town to spend money at a western owned restaurant. 


Good food with a view

During our stay at Bai Xep beach we ate out at Big Tree on a number of occasions and absolutely loved every meal we had.
The outdoor kitchen is magnificent with wood fired pizza oven, huge BBQ grill and even a smoker, I was very jealous!

There is a good varied menu selection.  We both tried the pizzas, which were great. I had an excellent chicken piccata, which was a lovely surprise to see on the menu.
The drinks were great too, with all the usual suspects as well as craft beer options and a lovely soda with basil, which I got a bit hooked on.

I would highly recommend a visit here.  The setting right on the beach is perfect and the food and service are excellent.

Fabulous food and tasty drinks too!

ate here 3 times and went back for drinks a couple more after eating elsewhere.Modelled on the best cool beach cafes in Asia, this place is fabulous, tables, sofas, easy chairs, choice of food styles. Run by friendly people .  right on the beach, plenty of vietnamese tourists eating alongside europeans, it has a limited menu but great pizza and salads.

I did not stay at this hotel, but we had dinner at its Big Tree Bistro restaurant. We ate outside overlooking the lovely bay. 
We shared BBQ seafood-prawns were great but the fish was very dried out. Also chicken cooked in lemongrass & chili sauce, as well as a seafood spaghetti. All tasty.
