Myself and my partner stayed here for 4 nights. Great spot to see the city and discover the real Hanoi. The rooms are very clean, safe and nicely furnished (good beds which in Vietnam can be hard to come by!). The owner/manager although speaks a little English but will provide an interpreter if you need and she will give you some material to look around the authentic neighborhood - it's cool being the only foreigner as you walk down the streets. Neighborhood is legitimately Vietnamese, with so many little local shops and restaurant/street food that is very very cheap.
