Royal City is an amazing place to stay. It is built above a megamall which is located in the basement of the city. It is completely self contained, water, electricity and shopping. There are many restaurants and shops selling things at normal prices for consumers. The food choice is mind blowing and there is even a waterpark, ice-rink and cinema.

The complex has everything you need for comfortable living. All the one star reviews here are not fair. It seems like people didn't adjust their expectations. You're coming to Vietnam! What kind of service are you expecting? I was very happy with the apartment we got there. Giving 4 starts instead of 5 because here were no small welcoming touches. Like I had to go buy paper towels and clean sheets were in the dryer when we arrived - took me forever to find them. Also ac in one of the bedrooms wasn't working, but if was a 3 bedroom and we really needed a 2 bedroom so no biggie. Otherwise absolutely Fantastic! Great mall right underground with tons of restaurants, amazing deserts and bubble tea places and shopping too. Great place!

I will be working at Hanoi for over a month. My company reserved this serviced apartment for me. I got a 2 bedroom suite. The room is clean and big. Better than a hotel room especially you will be staying here for long period. 
There are some improvement I like to see. 1, shower drainage is clogged,
2 air condition is not powerful. It took long time to cool the room down. And there is no air condition in elevator . It is hot here in Hanoi 
3 there is an issue with the safe in my room. I called and talked to service several times and still not resolved

Comfort at last!

Better than hotel

I would not recommend anyone to stay here. It's called service apartment but the services are poor.  This is what I've experienced during my stayed. 
The service receptionist has no courtesy and manners at all,  they chats away eventhough you stand infront of him to have a chance to ask for his service. 
Room electricity point are dangerous,  keep tripping due to overload current from the air-con. 
Aircon water dripping non stop and no action even after you make a complaint. 
Bedroom light short circuit in the middle of the night. 
Kitchen water tap design is too low and they charged for chipping glass due to low quality glass provided by them. 
They make you wait half an hour just to checkout eventhough you informed the casher that you have a international flight to catch. 
The whole place is still under renovation, restaurants are without air-con and the floor environments are dirties. Waiters are mannerless. Go there if you prepare to have free sauna. 
They should not open this place for  public if it's not ready to serve professionally. It's no point to caused inconveniences to their guest and eventually lost their reputation.

I was so dissapointed as I thought this place will explore new feelings and relaxation for my business trips. 
My first and last for this place. 

A no-no and thumps down for this Service Apartment.

Construction work done very noisy the whole day 
Aircon not effective at all 
Aircon vibration stay on master room 
Cannot sleep at night 
Not providing enough towels for numbers of guest 
Sofa broken 
Really the worst I ever try!
They show me some other unit for replacement , all same problem 
The Aircon installed not strong enough
