On the 25th May i fell sick and after consultation was advised to stay in Hanoi, so went to Mai Villa Hotel 1, were i had stayed the previous week end too. I checked out (room 105-1st floor)on the 27th morning. On the 30th night i realized that i had left my jacket in the hotel and called my friend who in turn called the Hotel and confirmed that the jacket was available.Next day it was handed over to me by my friends with a good lecture....and when i checked my jacket my 800 USD +200 USD (T/C) =1000 USD was all in tact and some Sri Lankan money. I would like to commend Ms. Hien of housekeeping and also the reception staff for their honesty of the highest degree.The loss to me would have been unbearable..
