Parking was tight and hard to get in and out!

The property was very clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable.

I really liked that it was literally a 30 second walk to the beach, I came with my whole family and it was very clean and spacious. The dryer and washer was an added plus. The only thing is one of the tvs were broken but other thank that it was a 10/10 stay.

Very clean, very nice stay close to the beach - easy walk across the street to the  beach access.  2-bedroom, 2-bath with a pull-out sofa was perfect for our 5-person family stay.

I love this condo! It had everything Me and husband needed for our family. I will definitely be booking with them again!

If we can get back to enforcement of the usage of the pool between the two buildings to the 0900 to 2200 timeframes,  we would have a GREAT week.   Unfortunately, a few bad apples can ruin your entire batch.
The check in process, amenities, room, cleanliness, furniture, check out process, etc. were all great.   

This property is very clean and reasonably priced . The location can not be beat . The property is about 1 mile from Garden City Pier . The beach access is right across the street . You are All so close to Surfside . Also golf carts are allowed at this property which is a big plus .

Once the biker week participants left, it was a restful and quiet week at Sandy Shores III. The 2 BR unit on the second floor was dated but recently painted.  One block from the beach is fantastic!  Kitchen is a bit tight if you are doing more than putting sandwiches together or more than one cook is cooking.  Beds were great.

October is great in Surfside Beach

Annual trip to Garden City Beach, SC

The hotel staff is amazing, they went above what they needed to when i was having difficulty with my payment. They even gave my kids and I access  to a private community pool which was great. This is the third time ive stayed at this resort and will continue to do so. The housekeeping however was a bit ridiculous, the unit wasnt very clean at all. Other than the housekeeping, this property is awesome, stone throw from the beach all the amenities of home and everything else fairly close by.

We enjoyed staying at this property, and would stay here again. As others have mentioned, you do have to go to a different location to pick up keys, but it is only 3 miles away (10 minutes in traffic). For some reason, our unit was missing a broom and they immediately brought us one when we called and asked. There are room darkening curtains, which was important to us with little ones taking daytime naps. Our only complaint was that there were no fans in the bedroom. The living room would be freezing cold, but when the bedroom doors were shut, it was much warmer in the bedrooms. A fan was definitely needed. Pool was perfect for what we needed, and the walk to the beach was minimal. There was a nice washing station right as you came off the beach.

Just what we needed

I have owned a two-bedroom August week unit for almost ten years along with my wife who has been a twenty plus year owner of a three bedroom unit on the same August week. The old carpet was taken up in the living/dining/kitchen area and a wood surface put down which is a huge improvement. Ocean access is right across the street and you are only five minutes away or less to many restaurants and retail stores. Still has a nice family atmosphere so we hope that lasts and doesn't become like Myrtle Beach with shootouts on the street. Television reception is a little sketchy at times and phone reception was not very good. Needed a channel guide and fresh batteries in the remotes. Pools were cleaned daily and outside areas kept pretty clean overall. When I called the office about not having a phone in the unit the maintenance man came right away and installed one, very fast service. My unit is top floor but the lower floor units may be noisier if there are children who like to run around above you and/or like to slam the sliding door to the balcony. Older units and not very soundproof. Have always had a relaxing time there so no major complaints. Nothing fancy but serviceable and clean. The bed in my unit was quite comfortable with a nice firm mattress. There was a large air gap under the front door that should be sealed to keep the A/C in, especially as our thermostat will only go to 72 degrees on the lowest setting (which is seven degrees warmer than I like to sleep but I always bring my fan) and also to keep the bugs out.

Long time owner, very nice place for the price

Comfortable and nice place to stay. We stayed in a one bedroom, and the boys slept on a pull out couch. Had no issues with anything. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool
is tiny and gets crowded easily, but We spent most of our time at the beach. To get to the beach you just cross road. It’s literally a 2 minute walk.  All amenities are on site.  The beach wasn’t overly crowded either. It’s more of a family atmosphere... which we liked.

Walk outside and the beach access is less than 1 block in either direction. Perfect for kids without the high price of beach front locations. Save some money and get the same beach. Condo was good in size and codetable for our family of four. The staff was very attentive and willing to accommodate our needs. 

Great Beach access

I overall enjoyed my stay.  I only required a clean place to lay my head after a long day.  The place is dated and the banding on the countertop was coming off, but overall it was an acceptable place to stay for a couple of days. If maintenance would address just a few small issues, I would not have anything to complain about the property itself.  Parking is available, but extremely tight since you have to park between the beams of the foundation that have HVAC units mounted prohibiting full use of your car doors on both sides. I didn’t enjoy having to drive 3 miles off property to pickup/drop off they keys after driving all day, but also don’t see where they could have a management office on-premises.  This may have been noted somewhere, but I neglected to see this before arriving. I had plenty of hot water for myself and the kitchenette was fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware and glassware.  It does have a small pool, but since I went in the wintertime, I was not able to use it. It’s located directly across the street from the ocean and from the balcony you can see it peeking through the buildings.  At the end of the day and at the price point, I would absolutely stay there again and probably will next year at this time.

Great location, right across the street from the beach and a mile from the pier. I loved that we were so close that we didn’t have to pack an entires day worth of drinks and snacks for the beach, we were able to easily go back and forth. Pool was kind of small but never overly crowded.  Parking was pretty tight for our Dodge Grand Caravan but there was usually a spot across the street for beach parking that we used during the day when we knew we would be running around to different sites so we didn’t have to deal with maneuvering into the parking spot. Condo was fully stocked with everything you would need in a kitchen, from pots and pans to a cheese grater. Carpet was a little bit dingy and had a couple stains. No towel service but there is a washer and dryer which was nice for throwing our beach towels in. All in all, the location is top notch if you don’t mind a slightly older unit, having to climb at least one flight of stairs and no towel/housecleaning. Would visit again!

Great location!

There was nothing negative at all to say about his fabulous place. It’s right across the street from the Atlantic, you are within walking distance from plenty of public beach space, local coffee shops and restaurants...my family and I are already thinking about our return trip. Everyone was so laid back and welcoming, and we were on the second floor with ocean views out the front door. You won’t be sorry you booked this, you’re welcome in advance!
