Great location and good,  clean hotel. The room we had was spacious and good. We only had a slight problem with the temperature in the room..,, so we cracked open the wi dies a bit and were fine. Good friendly service. We could also bring our own apps and beverages and have a little get together in the lobby in the evening. The v complimentary breakfast was great as well.

Good experience

We have stayed here twice recently (July and October). The location is terrific since it is right in the middle of campus. Beautiful grounds with a garden and park to explore , well kept building, comfortable beds, lots of pillows, and the best air conditioning of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in!!!  It is comparable to a Hampton Inn or Courtyard I would say.  Miami U has very few choices so this has become our favorite. Way nicer than the rooms at Hueston Woods Lodge.  The bathrooms in the suites are tiny, but the room is large.

Best choice for Miami U visits

Nice place to stay for family weekend before dropping off student for summer scholars camp.  Quiet, clean, & comfortable. Spacious rooms.  Beds comfortable, even the rollaway (not the folded in half kind, more like a Murphy bed on wheels).  We will be back!

Great find!

The price is right, but the rooms a bit too simple and worn. The ottoman had a large red stain and the bathroom small with few aesthetics. The front desk staff was indifferent and the breakfast pre-packaged.  The location is good, but not within walking distance of any city options. We will try another place on our next visit.

Like a dorm but a bit larger

Room was decent size and clean, but walls paper thin. Heard women in adjacent room during every phone conversation and even was awoken several times as she coughed during the night. Will go elsewhere next time!

Nice location but.....

I chose this hotel because I was visiting my son at Miami U.  I read many positive reviews and I agree with them.  This is a beautiful hotel on the edge of the Miami campus in a very scenic wooded area.  There is no bar or restaurant but like many hotels it has a small store near the desk that sells snacks and drinks.  The room was great, immaculately clean and modern.  The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows.  The room also had a large flat screen and coffee maker.  This particular room also had a large tub sized shower instead of a bathtub.  It was a warm evening and the AC was quiet and worked very well.  Breakfast is pretty basic, bagels, muffins, donuts and cereal.  As others have mentioned, the signage outside could be better, the parking lot and entrance are around the back of the building.  This was my first time at this hotel and it will be my first choice for return visits to Miami.

Beautiful Hotel on Miami Campus

The rooms are very nice, big and clean and well worth staying if you're visiting MU.  Next time we will try the Elm downtown Oxford near places to eat.  However, if you do stay, you should pray for no rain, because the walk from the parking lot with all your luggage to the hotel is far, completely open, and slightly uphill.  The breakfast is not even considered continental, I suggest you go into town for breakfast.  The staff at the hotel desk need to find other jobs, they were not helpful, polite or friendly and acted like we were bothering them when asked a couple of simple questions. Bruno's Pizza place I will say is very good and the owner/waitress was friendly and very helpful telling us all about the area and the school.

Summer visit to Miami U

The rooms at this hotel are very very nice.  The price in the summer for a visit was good.  The breakfast was very lame.  Almost to the point of don't even offer it.  I would be fine if breakfast wasn't provided. It's ok not to serve breakfast, just coffee and tea is ok. I would stay here again but plan on having breakfast out.  A very nice hotel.

Quick visit to Miami University

A great hotel, very nice and comfortable. A very nice team, and a wonderful bed, you really want not to wake up and fall asleep. Breakfast is pretty simple, but Miami College has a restaurant a few meters from the hotel, which serves a great breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
