Grasshopper Inn

My wife and I stayed at the Grasshopper Inn, and had one of the best hotel experiences out of all of our trips so far. The property was spotlessly clean, well maintained, and quite new. The rooms were comfortable, large, and quiet. And we had convenient parking with a reserved space.However, the highlight of our experience was the customer service. Mark was absolutely wonderful and made us feel at home. He gave us great tips for food, parking, and sightseeing, and called us in advance of our stay to make sure everything was in place for our stay, Moreover, Mark went above and beyond by surprising my wife and I with a birthday gift. We told him we were there for my wife’s birthday and he gave us a box of fine chocolate truffles, along with put up decorations outside of our room. We did not ask for any of this before our stay and didn’t mention it until we talked to him while there. We were so grateful he did this.Lastly, they have a nice breakfast in the morning, and the folks providing it are just as hospitable as Mark. In general, we felt like we were staying with relatives. It was a fantastic experience and a great find. We couldn’t recommend this hotel more. Thank you Mark and everyone else who made our stay a wonderful experience!
