John's Pass Hotel

The room was so adorable!  The staff was great!   It’s next door to Bubba Gump!  It’s the perfect location with free garage parking!  I absolutely recommend this place

I love how simple checking into the hotel was and very quite.

Absolutely perfect stay! The location couldn’t have been better, just a short walk to the beach. We parked our car when we arrived and didn’t need it again for the rest of the trip. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Highly recommend!

The hotel room was good I loved the big shower. When I got there had a hard time finding the hotel and one of the store employees helped me get on my way

This is our second year staying here and we love it. I have been disappointed both times with the tvs. They never work. Also a this time the internet was down for a long time. The location and accommodation for our big family does way out the cons.

It was very nice and modern.  You can stay anywhere closer to John's Pass!!

Very cool place to stay. Literally right on St. John’s Pass. So convenient. Great communication on the easy check in and parking. Definitely would stay again.

Great place to stay always clean and comfortable. Parking is tight especially if you have a big truck. But they’re always accommodating.

Close to everything, there’s a little but of noise every morning but good for what you’re paying for.

The condo was clean and spacious. We really liked the location- you could walk to so many places. The condo had a few wear and tear items and things that needed to be repaired but overall, it was a very nice place. However, when we first walked in, there was an overwhelming fishy smell that we traced back to the master bathroom. It appears it was coming from the shower drain. We flushed it with lots of hot water and soap and even went and bought a bottle of Febreze to spray around, which made it tolerable, but was still there the entire stay.

Positives - Great area in the middle of all of the shops and restaurants. There is entertainment at some of the establishments so there is no reason to leave the area.Negatives - No ice machine on property, lots of noise from trash trucks every morning from 5 to 6 am, lack of black out shades on the windows and doors are glass letting in a lot of light in the evenings.

The room was old but clean and quant. There was a festival going on and we could look out over the event and walk to it. We thought there was a pool to use but I feel was misinformed. I'm guessing the pool was at the condo's and not the hotel but we could walk to the beach and see the beautiful sunset. I would definitely go there again.

Pros This is the fourth time staying at John's pass hotel staff is always very polite and helpful rooms always clean and comfortable would highly recommend to my friends and family who plan to visit Madeira Beach FloridaCons my room was a double bed for (4) occupants and there was only one very small shampoo and cream rinse and soap there was less than a half a roll of toilet paper and no additional products available.. I made out fine because it was only two of us able to come on the trip .

Another wonderful stay at John's pass hotel

We liked the location. Right in the middle of a lot of things to do, places to eat and shop.The only thing that we had a hard time with was at check-in. The email did not go threw and they finally after 3 calls sent the parking code by text. If that would have been done right away with the room information it would have been stress free.

Found out 2 hours before check in this is no contact property . Which was fine  but the parking needed more direction . Called the property office and person that answered could not direct me to the parking lot . I have landmark at John’s pass villages and she had no idea what I was saying . Had to refer back to our GPS. The property emailed a parking pass and then we had to figure out where the rooms were on the 3 rd  floor . Better communication or instructions SHOULD be supplied . Not everyone lives in the area and visitors from out of town would have zero clue as how the John’s pass process works . Location is great ! Dining is amazing ! Trolley was helpful .

Communication with the office went smoothly as it was done  through a phone call and a pass code through text. The elevators sucked. We only found one on the other side of the complex that worked.  Not convenient or helpful when you have large suite cases.Room was clean and spacious given that it was a studio size.    However the light outside the room shined through all night making it hard to bright in the room all night for my liking Would definitely rent there again as the location in Johns Pass was amazing, lots of restaurants close by and super comfy and clean room.  The price was great.

Communication was great and the facility itself is so very convenient of a location. the remote check-in and getting the parking pass was perfect. The problem is you're never told exactly where to access or park in the garage. Once in the garage elevator there's only a very small sign that mentions the Hotel. We parked on 2 and had no idea how to get to our room. After going up and down in the elevator it opened from the opposite side and we finally found the room. The room itself was very clean and comfy, it really needs some type of shelf in the shower to put the bottles and soap. You're stuck putting it on the actual shower floor. Traffic was loud from Gulf Blvd but it didn't bother us that much. We would definitely stay again.

Awkward arrival

Our AC was on 69, but it was humid and warmer in the room; we were unable to change it. I called the main # and maintenance came in 10 minutes and reset it. We didn't have anymore problems.
