462 reviewsVery nice, very good value for the money. For a two-day stay I saved at least $60 relative to all other comparables in Kitty Hawk or Kill Devil Hills. The room was absolutely fine, slightly rundown if you looked carefully at the corners. Good TV, good wireless, good hot water. Bed and blankets fine. Good desk and chair, microwave, refrigerator. The door opens to the parking lot. It was quiet, but this is the off-season. The free breakfast was very good, in a very spacious room. The third floor in the back has pretty good ocean views. One minor problem, easily fixed. The curtain that pulls to the right on the main window at the parking lot wouldn't stay far enough right. This left a crack that outsiders could peer through and see a fair amount of the room. I fixed this easily with a little scotch tape. See photo. Contrary to the website photo, there is no blue paint on the outside. At night there are no street lights and no lighted sign on this property. It's just north of the well-lighted Day's Inn.
