Columbia Falls

The Bad Rock was a memorable experience. Our room with private bath was very comfortable and we had a nice balcony with beautiful views of the mountains. We even had lounge chairs! Breakfast was excellent and well beyond the usual eggs and bacon fare. We stayed for four days . The breakfast was the same for each guest, but was unique each day ( some combination of chocolate chip scones, blueberry coffee cake,  and waffles with cheese,  or sausage, eggs, bacon and fruit). This hearty fare  was prepared hot for each guest as they came down in the morning. The breakfast was a good setup for the day's activities. The Bad Rock Host Bill is very friendly and helpful. Many items are available for guests to borrow to use on hikes ( coolers, hiking sticks, rain jackets). You can rent bear spray as well.  We borrowed a cooler to take our lunch. There is a laundry available, plus a nice rec room with a pool table and a kitchen, should you wish to cook a meal.

 One of the joys of this B&B was having breakfast with other guests and exchanging tips of where to go in Glacier. Other guests shared info about hiking trails, driving the Going-to-the-Sun road and wildlife encounters. Iphone photos were shared each day. We met many interesting people from all over the country. The property is well maintained and is attractively decorated. It's on several beautiful acres with views of the mountains. They have their own chickens  and enough acreage to grow hay! The Bad Rock is only 20 minutes outside the park.  This B&B is a good value, and uniquely charming.  We would go back in an instant!

Charming, Comfortable Mountain B&B

Another great stay at Bad Rock B&B.  Bill was so accommodating to our schedule on the one morning we had to leave before breakfast and provided us with to-go breakfast bags.  On our second morning the breakfast at the house was amazing.  This will definitely be our first choice to stay when we return to Glacier in the future.  

Not our first visit, and certainly not our last.  

We had a lovely stay at the very picturesque Bad Rock B&B.   The host was outgoing and friendly, the facilities were clean and well kept and comfortable - with lots of options for sitting by the fire at night or petting chickens or watching wild turkeys.   Breakfast was sociable and good and plentiful.   

We would certainly consider another visit the next time we are visiting Glacier National Park.

Pretty rural B&B

My husband and I spent 5 nights at Bad Rock B&B in mid-September. Really cannot say enough good things about this place. It was a great location - convenient to both GNP and the cute town of Columbia Falls (side note: go have dinner at Three Forks Grille!). We stayed in the Swan Mountain Cabin, and it was so nice having both a balcony and patio with beautiful mountain views. Bill was an excellent host who curated amazing breakfasts and provided coffee for us early every morning. We were able to borrow coolers and ice packs for our adventures every day. Thank you to Bill and the entire staff for a great stay - we really hope to be back. 

Beautiful and conveniently located property 

If we could give more than 5 stars we would.  This place is gorgeous, meticulously maintained and has every possible amenity.  There’s a lending closet, containing hiking poles, rain gear, binoculars, coolers, etc. etc.  They even loan out bear spray (which goes for $50+ in this area). There is a huge library that includes many resources for Glacier National Park (we found the hiking map particularly useful). The breakfasts were delicious, plentiful and varied.  There’s a well-stocked game room/full kitchen for guests with DVD’s, board games, pool, darts, shuffleboard, etc.  A Laundry facility is also available, complete with detergent. In the evening, guests come together around either a fire pit or wood burning fire to rest and share tips on their park experiences. If you can work a stay here into your plans, you won’t be disappointed.

Meticulous, well-appointed & close to Glacier

Bill was an absolutely wonderful host. A font of information about the area. The breakfasts were so good, we made sure to start our day at GNP after breakfast.  We would recommend this place to everyone.

Bill was an amazing host going above and beyond to make sure our stay was a good one. Excellent breakfasts.

Can’t imagine a hotel or B&B without a TV??  Could not watch Chiefs football.  Low water pressure.  Bed needs to be replaced - roll to the center.  Air Cond would only stay on about five minutes.

Great hosts and the breakfast every day was amazing!

Beautiful property! Close to the Glacier Park entrance and dining options. Owner Bill was welcoming and so helpful with information before and throughout our stay. Breakfast was delightful and other amenities including park supplies to borrow and drinks were a plus! Would definitely stay again!
