No.52 Bed & Breakfast

We stayed in the Spingo Room with the private bathroom. Clean and tidy room. Huge and comfy bed. Breakfast each morning was a nice touch. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and high street shops. A short drive to the beach. Perfect for our short stay in Cornwall.

This is the 3rd time I've stayed at No52 and Everytime it gets better, like a home from home but with a wonderful Cornwall welcome, Beds/rooms are spotless, staff amazing and the breakfast is second to none - just what you need to start the day! 
I could not recommend the hotel more...get booking,

Stayed for 1 night nice welcome beds and rooms clean and tidy.Breakfast huge and lovely.only problem no parking out side but rang and asked where nearest  car park was.It was just up the road not far at all

A perfectly decent room which unfortunately overlooked the next door pub's music room, so the considerable noise of people drinking continued until past midnight. There was also a VERY bright green light in the room, possibly from some kind of alarm, and this was very distracting.
However, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast really quite lavish: fruit juices, several kinds of tea, coffee, croissants, several types of bread, waffles, fruit and more.
The pub next door is FANTASTIC, friendly and helpful.

I had a great in room 3 , such a big room with a lovely bay window it was slightly noisy due to the taxi rank out side . It looked like the building is properly listed hence no double glazing maybe wooden shutters could help with the noise.
The breakfast I had was lovely and I really enjoyed. The wi if wasn’t great but that didn’t ruin my stay. There are reviews on here saying the staff were rude my experience was completely the opposite and the members of staff I dealt with were wonderful.

If you like constant shouting and loud music from the pub next door then you will love this place. Pillows like sanitary towels and no sleep at all. You can hear the other guests stomping over the floors which constantly makes the windows rattle.   Awful place and not that clean. Carpet in twin room in need of a clean.

Noisy

Horrible owner attitude as we've got an issue due to a double payment. Despite multiple calls and messages after more than two months we have not been able to get a refund. As well they've never called us back. Really poor behaviour. Luckily, eventually we've got support form the booking agency.. I prefer not to comment on cleanliness and noise.

Avoid!

We booked in here out of necessity at £70 for a couple. After checking in at the adjacent bar we were shown to our room by a freindly young lady. We soon discovered there was no heat (it was freezing that night), the Wi-Fi did not work and the place was disgustingly filthy. We went to the bar to complain and were told that the internet never works (no signal) and that the lady knew nothing about the central heating. We were later told it was working when it clearly was not. She tried to ring someone in desperation (the manager we believe) but no-one picked up. The only saving grace was the breakfast but the service was really unfriendly. The room had a dirty toilet, filthy floors, dust everywhere, remains of food on the bedspread. I went out on my own next morning My wife and could not contact my wife inside as no phone signal. She was the other side of the front door trying to get out but could not open the door. God knows what would have happened if there had been a fire.
