Waggoners Barn

We’ve stayed in many different dog friendly, wheelchair accessible cottages over the years from Cornwall to Scotland and we always try something new. Ash Farm Barns has been so lovely that we will break a habit and return here because it has been a fabulous week in The Old Dairy. Fresh milk and free range eggs with cake and a beautiful bunch of wildflowers welcomed us on arrival. Jane, Carol and Peter are genuine, generous, hard working and welcoming members of their farming family. The accommodation is easy, bright and roomy with a large roll in shower and lots of grab rails. The views and walks through their extensive fields of rolling hills, woods and mowed pathways through wild meadows actually in the Lincolnshire Wolds are utterly sublime. Watching the sunset and the moon rise on Summer Solstice tonight whilst walking the dogs over the hill makes everything okay and the evening news irrelevant. Come here if you want to get real.
