Attended for a girls weekend to celebrate my 50th birthday. Our first visit. Booked the Optimum 8 which was very spacious with four bedrooms all with very comfortable beds. Lots of equipment provided including towels and bathrobes and slippers. Lovely area around the site great for walks. There is a lovely walk to Aysgarth falls that takes about 20 mins. Great restaurant onsite with lovely food. Our only issue was the hot tub as it didn’t seem to be very bubbly  but it was hot and we all still enjoyed it and we would definitely return. If you want a nice chilled holiday this is for you.

Booked a weekend 3 night break to celebrate my daughter's birthday although the weather wasn't great and we had storm Isha it did not disappoint. 
What a fab little place, the lodge was lovely, very clean with everything you need.  There was plenty room for two families sharing, we also loved the hot tub.....very nice indeed!
We had food in the bar one night which was also lovely. 
Would highly recommend and will definately be returning, thank you for a great stay.

Absolutely perfect, just what a person needs for a reset button 🤗

The lodge was everything we needed, only thing I would suggest would be silicone slotted turner for the frying pan, as the frying pan had been spanked with the metal slotted turner 🤣

The huge towels were lush, & the bed soooo comfy!

The hot tub was perfect, we used it late at night, when it was -4 outside, but the hot tub was 40*
There was a family of rabbits running about, and the clear skies to watch the stars was amazing.

The food at the on site restaurant was perfect!! Really tasty, & we are proper foodies.

The public footpath walks were great, definitely take walking boots 🥾 Will 100% come back, adult reset button we will do it all again 🤗

The lodge was above expectations. The complex is clean, tidy and well presented. Everyone is very friendly and can’t do enough for you. 

Lodge
Complementary milk, tea & coffee etc.. along with a mini cleaning kit was a great touch. Bathrobes included which was handy after the hot tub. The lodge itself was very clean, warm and toasty, which in January was perfect. We arrived early but managed to get checked in early which was greatly appreciated. We stayed in a duel lodge and could hear the neighbours next door but it didn’t spoil anything.

Perfect, does what it needs to, and maintained daily. Private also. 

Falls Restaurant
Complementary drinks were a very nice touch upon arrival. The staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome. 

Summary 
Great little secluded place, very picturesque and easy to get to, clean lodges and friendly staff, would 100% recommend and will definitely be visiting again, well done Leisure Resorts.

Stayed here for 4 nights over new year . Accommodation was immaculate and had everything we needed all though I think there should be a few more dinner plates as they only give you one per person in the lodge . 
The hot tub was amazing really hot and clean . 
The falls end restaurant is good but I think they need to be more organised as we hadn’t booked a table one night and it was only 6 pm. They said they were busy till 7.15 even though it wasn’t busy and there was plenty of spare tables . 
Food was great though .

Just back Aysgarth Lodge Holiday we have just returned from a brilliant weekend  with my daughter and son-in-law. What a great lodge,hot tub and lodge was beautiful. Everything clean. We had a drink in the pub,it was really good. Would we return again YES YES
They even allow dogs.

Top summer family stay!
We had a fabulous one week stay at this superb resort. What makes this place extra special?
1. The service and staff are second to none. So friendly, so helpful, so pleasant. This goes right through the organisation from the office staff, the maintenance team, the team at the bar, every member of staff we came across were so lovely. It is obviously a culture that the company develop.
2. The resort itself is stunning. We came with our 2 year old and she loved the playpark, the new crazy golf and the activity programme. The orienteering was a lot of fun and these activities allowed us to enjoy the site when we weren't out and about. 
3. Our lodge, 2 bedroom contemporary central living, was gorgeous. 
4. Location is perfect for many great days out. We enjoyed Bolton Castle, Stump Cross Caverns, Aysgarth Falls amongst other places. 

What would improve it further? 
Maybe an introduction of a small leisure offer for adults and youngsters? E.g. daily HIIT class, yoga? 
The food at the restaurant was good, fairly priced, but did enjoy eating out in Leyburn which was of superior quality. 

Visit Aysgarth Lodge! We sure will be back.

The lodge was nice and clean when we arrived,  the open plan kitchen was nice some of the glasses was plasted which is ok if you have children.  The hot tub is check every day , the bathrooms are very nice please make sure you take a plug as the plug in are lodge did not work. The beds are ok, but the singles ones are very narrow. 
There repair couple of things for as very quickly, the site was very clean and everyone who had dogs clean up after them. 
The site shop need to be little larger as there not much stock, the pub come restaurant the pub side is excellent the food is ok everyone does the best did get free ice cream one night us we waited need on a hour for are meal. 
On a hold a very nice place to stand for a quiet hoilday plenty places to visit 

We stayed for a week in a Contemporary 4 Lodge at the beginning of July.  A very well kept park, the lodge was lovely, modern and spacious with comfy beds and a very well equipped kitchen, plenty of crockery and utensils. Everything you needed if you wanted to cook a roast dinner!!

The only criticism we had of the lodge, more of an observation really, was that they have renewed the three piece suites in the lounge area to corner sofas. There was only two of us so it wasn’t a problem but it was definitely too small to seat 4 people. There was a large empty space in the corner of the living area, making it look as if something was obviously missing. I guess a chair would fill the space adequately which would give enough seats for four people

We ate at The Falls End Restaurant a few times during our stay. The food was lovely and plentiful, the staff  were very helpful and friendly. Excellent welcome from Reece, The Manager, who was also very informative about the surrounding area and gave us some valuable advice.

We had a wonderful peaceful, relaxing stay and would highly recommend these lodges.

We have arrived home today after a long weekend break and had the best time. When we arrived staff was very friendly(especially the ground/maintenance staff) & a special mention to the bar staff that were very friendly with our daughter as she was a little tired and grouchy and they made her smile and laugh(something even me her dad couldn’t do).We got into the lodge and essentials like tea,coffee & biscuits were provided along with a bag of dog treats and 2 tennis balls( our cocker spaniel was very happy) the lodge and ground were very well equipped,clean and tidy. Plenty of space in the grounds which our dog and 2 year old daughter enjoyed(including the play park)

Lots of good walks and recommend aysgarth falls for a trip out.

I have read some very bad reviews about the lodge park but I can say it was faultless and deserve nothing but 10/10!

We will certainly return soon

It was fabulous

Not quite a 5 star rating but only minor things have dropped it

Few negatives
- path to the lodge floods so it was a bit of a nightmare each time you came and went. I will say this was during the storm so it fair to say its to be expected but others didn't have this

- we booked a contemp secluded lodge, it got changed last minute to a comtemp view due to an issue with the lodge but there wasn't a view which was a little disappointing. It wasn't secluded either which we were told it would be in the secluded area.

Like I say minor things

Positives - loads
- staff were great and friendly 
- falls end restaurant is really good and handy, free pool is a nice touch. We ate the Sunday lunch which although was a bit sweet due to the sides it was well set out and we did enjoy it.
- welcome drinks on arrival
- really nice lodge, well kept and excellent hot tub
- really handy for trips to the falls, cheese factory or even a trip to Leeds which is what we did

Really good trip away. Would definelty come back and would recommend

10/10 Perfect little weekend away

First time staying here and won't be our last. Already booked to stay again. Check in simple and easy as long as you had all your paperwork available. Staff efficient and friendly. We stayed in Escape Plus which was very clean and well equipped. Certainly could not complain about the cleanliness or standard. Only issue was en suite on arrival smelt of rotten drains but fortunately we had a diffuser with us and after the first night smell had disappeared. See other people have complained about this but wonder if it is just when lodge not been used for a few days? Had Sunday lunch in Falls Edge which was really good. All in all had a fab stay and would certainly recommend. Site was so quiet even though most lodges occupied. 

Would have given 4.5 if I could

New year

We have just come back from a 2 night stay here. We saw this on Hoseasons, it was an amazing lodge. Check in was so easy and the staff are so friendly and helpful, the keys were in our door and we just went straight in. The lodge has everything you need and the hot tub is perfect, it was ready to use straightaway. It was very private and fenced all the way round, robes and slippers were provided which is a nice touch. Biscuits and glass bottle of milk was left in fridge for us too. 
It is only a 10 minute walk to the Aysgarth falls, which is such a lovely day out.

we booked in for the restaurant on the Saturday night, the food was nice but very salty. Overall decent but probably wouldn’t return and maybe go to the local pub. 
We used the local farmer shop for breakfast supplies.

Would absolutely recommended this lodge, it’s immaculate and a gorgeous relaxing retreat.

Would 100% return!

The lodges are nice and the staff are helpful and friendly. It's a great location to to around the Dales and only about 15 minute walk to the Aysgarth Falls that featured in the film Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. The local shop on site isn't great and there are no other shops within walking distance but the local pubs and restaurants are great and all the people are friendly.

Nice place to take the kids

Immaculate lodges that are well equipped and in a great location. A short walk to Aysgarth Falls which are spectacular, especially after a spell of rain. There is a great small animal farm on site which was a lovely addition. We only used the on-site restaurant once mainly because the service was really quite poor, but the food was fine to be fair.
