150 reviewsI have spent years travelling the UK for both business and pleasure and have stayed at everything from a 5 star hotel to a small B&B and I can honestly say that this is one of the most pleasant places I have ever stayed in. Michael and Luca are the perfect warm and welcoming hosts. The room was clean, spacious and had all the facilities you would expect. The Smart TV is a really great touch. It was easy to navigate and login to your own streaming accounts, so we could catch up on our saved content. The breakfast menu caters for all tastes and it quickly became obvious that they have cooked breakfasts down to a fine art. Sadly they don't provide Raspberry Jam for morning toast, just Strawberry Jam and Marmalade. Their recommendations regarding local amenities were spot on. Elloe Lodge is , perfectly located on the outskirts of the town with semi-rural views, but just a 2 minute walk from the high street and centre of the town. If I ever return to this area and require an overnight stay, I will definitely be returning to Elloe Lodge.
