Highlight of our stay was how friendly the staff were and how well looked after we felt. They went the extra mile mile to make sure everything was as good as it could be, particularly the bar and restaurant staff. The hotel itself has been refurbished very nicely, in keeping with the building which is interesting and unique - it creates a great atmosphere and intreague when walking around and relaxing in the bar or lounge. Food in the restaurant was also excellent, both dinner and breakfast. We had a king river view room which was great - very spacious and comfortable. Only downside - it can be a bit drafty and noisy from the road, but given the age of the building and windows, that can't really be helped. Overall, highly recommend!
