Wow what can we say. Amazing! Amazing food and staff best curry ever so nicely presented. Wouldn’t go anywhere else this is a real gem. The ambience is lovely too would give more than 5 stars if we could

Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance as it just looks like any roadside pub. It is not. We were amazed at the lush interior, probably the nicest Indian restaurant we have been in. Food excellent and reasonably priced.

Made a reservation following advice from a local resident. So glad we did. The food was delicious and so much attention to detail. The staff were welcoming and so helpful. Can’t wait to go back again. Also incredible value for money.
We had onion bhaji and chicken pakora to start with the nicest dipping sauce ever ( especially the coriander one ). followed by a biryani and chicken ada and egg fried rice. We were unable to eat anything else unfortunately

Staying in Bourton on the water, someone had recommended the Indian food at the Coach and Horses in the visitors book. We liked it so much on our first visit we ate there again 2 nights later. Really good food, reasonably priced and the best possible service, thankyou.

We booked this Based on the reviews we had read, it didn’t disappoint. The food was outstanding, all reasonably priced and served in a lovely restaurant. Wished we had booked for the following night but unfortunately we had a reservation at the Fox Inn all I can say about their food is (ding ding).

We drove passed here on a visit to boughton and the water , realising the small village has more people visiting than a seaside we decided to try here for a drink and meal . OH MY GOD !!! I have been to a lot of Indians around the country and this is by far the best I’ve ever had ! The food was absolutely beautiful, fresh , tasty , very well presented and reasonably priced . My ONLY bug bare was don’t serve beautiful and pretty food on chipped plates !! Just to add I was full and asked to take the rest home which they did BUT do NOT put takeaway curry boxes on its side in the bag to leak over the back seat of my car ( lucky it’s leather) ! On a lighter note the take out after being warmed up in microwave was still better than some restaurants I’ve eaten in 

We pulled off, wanting to find a light lunch, whilst working. The staff were polite and friendly throughout and assured us we could choose starters from the Indian menu. The rstaurant was very quiet but our waiter ensured that we were warm and comfortable. We chose a selection of starters, which were all excellent.
There was a range of interesting items and the main courses looked good too. Only sorry we were not in the area in the evening.

We called in for lunch without knowing anything about the Ali Baba restaurant in the former pub. The food was outstanding. Extensive menu with many dishes exclusive to the restaurant. Very reasonably priced, nice decor, spotlessly clean and excellent, attentive service.

Went to the restaurant to give it a try, and it did not disappoint. 

The food was delicious, and plentiful, with a good range to choose from. They also offered to box up what we couldn't manage to eat, so that we could take it home with us.

The staff were attentive without being over the top, friendly, and very helpful. 

Will be going back here the next time we're visiting the area.

Visited this pub which is now an Indian Restaurant and were delighted with all aspects. We were made very welcome - attentive but not intrusive service. Great selection with good range of Chef' s specials. The food was not just beautiful but appetising and very well presented. Even the grandchildren loved the food. Great value and as an important consideration near Bourton - plenty of parking!!

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic Indian meal here. Food was super tasty - all the classics and a good selection of chef’s specials too. Excellent service and thoroughly deserves five stars. 
This place was recommended to us by our host - I was a bit anxious seeing the relatively low starred rating it received but I believe these chiefly seem to be from before it became an Indian restaurant/pub.  In its current format I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Delicious Indian Food

This country pub was an unlikely setting for the best Indian meal I’ve eaten outside of India , actually it was as good.!    The coach and horses is a little bit isolated in location but if you love Indian food you will be glad you made the effort to go and go again you will . The menu is extensive with several dishes I’ve never seen in other Indian restaurants , like the meat Thali that me and my partner both chose to try , this is a dish made up of 6 or7 different dishes 
All dishes were spiced to perfection & all completely different- we had a prawn dish a chicken dish a lamb dish a veg dish samosas rice naan & raita , I found it impossible to eat it all this was followed up by a complimentary 
drink from the bar. All this and service with a smile, this was a wonderful birthday meal out that if I didn’t live 
2 hrs drive away would be a once a month restaurant.

 


Amazing authentic Indian food

We were travelling back from holiday looking for a lunch time meal and came across this. We love Indian so went in. Great to have plenty of parking and the feel of the original pub.how wonderful it is to have a meal at a table with a table cloth and material serviettes unfurled for you how brilliant for these days but still not expensive

The staff were very polite, courteous and helpful. The menu is very varied and excellent prices. Had the Chicken Biriani and it was fabulous. One of the best we have had anywhere. Worth a stop if you like Indian. Fortunately it’s not too far from home so shall return without a doubt.

What a surprising gem

We heard this place did curry's and thought it was a pub that had a good curry selection on the menu. When we arrived we found it was actually an Indian Restaurant. We were in the area on a break so were dining at different places. What a great find for us that it was so much more than expected. The food was really tasty and such generous portions and the staff were very friendly, we had a lovely chat to one, who told us a few interesting stories, he was really entertaining and amusing and made our evening a great experience. Will definitely pay another visit if we're down in that area in the future.
