I hired all of the rooms at The Radstock Hotel for my team when we travelled to Somerset to run an event.
We loved it.
The hotel staff were really helpful & friendly, the rooms were super (especially room 1), they were very clean and very comfortable.
Thank you for making us so welcome, we will be back in 2025.

The review is for the bar/breakfast not for the accommodation. This is a typical village pub. If you are expecting hipster decor and vibe then this isn’t the place for you. But if a warm welcoming easygoing place is what you want then head here when in Radstock. 
A group of us went on a freezing morning after parkrun amidst unexpected snowfall. The place had quite a few customers (mainly post parkrun crowd) and there was a mixup with some breakfast orders. So we had to wait some time for ours to arrive. But when it did it was worth the wait. Lovely ingredients and generous portions at an affordable price. And they catered for Coeliacs which meant gluten free breakfast options too. Yay! You basically build your own on a hand marked piece of paper. Tea/coffee is self-service but no complaints about that either. 
As I noted, if you are happy with an easygoing place then you will enjoy it. If back in Radstock again, I will definitely be back.

Stopped by to check out a family connection on the trip from Bristol to Poole. A warm welcome at the bar, sadly food service was finished but any pub that has Scampi Fries gets five stars in my book. Mid 20th Century theme, Dad’s Army was playing on the TV.

The town has many memories of the past in and around the hotel, well worth checking out.

Booked 4 nights / 5 days at the Radstock hotel as had a wedding to attend in Bath and this hotel offered excellent value for money! Room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, Ok some of the furniture was dated but it was clean, convenient location, room was comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly! Spent a few evenings in the pub area downstairs, chatting to locals, enjoying local cider and made the most of our stay.  We would definitely stay again and really enjoyed our stay here. The housekeeping staff were helpful too, continually topping up our tea / coffee and milk Bless them xxxxx

Lovely stay in very comfy bed. Staff were happy to help at all times. We enjoyed our evening meal and heard no noise disturbance either from the bar or the road. Very happy with the room and service. Would definitely stay here again.

New owners, so we gave it another try and pleased we did. Top notch roast beef roast, we had to wait a little bit it was worth it, and for £10 you can’t go wrong. Friendly staff, highly recommend if you can’t be bothered cooking yourself!

Visited with friends to try the Sunday Roast. Very friendly staff. Lunch was excellent value for money. The lunch was very hot with generous portions. I hope this time the new management team will stay as they have certainly made a big difference already.

Came in for a Sunday roast, dog friendly which was great. Staff all friendly and THE best roast!! 
Perfectly situated to grab the last bus back to Bath. The price was certainly the best I have seen in a long time. Must see

Spent the day at the family fun day, all kids and adults enjoyed, evening entertainment with lots of singing

Food was great and super breakfast

Room was perfect for what we needed, comfortable and clean, it’s not all dining and dancing but we’re not posh wannabes, so great stay, great company

Mum & I went here for a Sunday meal fairly recently - the menu was limited probably due to it being a Sunday. The hospitality from the staff was very attentive & friendly. It was busy and there was some waiting however the standard of food was very good so we overlooked that. My only criticism is that the The Senior citizens portion of the Mediterranean Tart (I think that is what it was) is not any smaller than the normal portion so that was annoying as Mum can only eat smaller portions. The offerings when it came to the Roast meals was very generous. Some of the veg were a little overcooked. 
My sister went there with her in-laws & our mum without knowing we had already been there and her comment was that she was very impressed so overall we were happy. We would consider coming back to check a weekday menu as I am sure it is just as good.

This is a very basic hotel but if you're not bothered by frills, then you might be OK here. The single room (rm 5) was clean, sheets and towels were good quality and the bed comfortable. Parking is available too which is useful. However, the age of the building means no double glazing so I might as well have been sleeping on the hard shoulder of the M4! The traffic noise is awful, it started to quieten down around midnight but it was busy again at 6am so very little sleep which was a shame. I believe the owners are in the process of updating the property so there was no breakfast available although there are a couple of local cafes available. Lots of drawer space but no wardrobe so you'll have to hang your clothes off the drawer handles or the door. Tea/coffee making facilities are there but very basic. If it wasn't for the noise, I'd have been happy enough to stay but it was ridiculous, so I've had to spend another £200 to stay elsewhere for the remainder of my visit.

My husband booked this hotel just for one night stay on Saturday night…I would never stay in here again the room need a good update it’s all very old also  it very noisy at the front with people leaving the pub and traffic going by all night..Also they keep the heating on and it got so in hot in room..The bed sheets was clean but the beds need to be Chuck out and replaced…The man showed us the room lifted seat on toilet and someone had used it and not pulled the chain(gross)
