A romantic B&B with exceptional service and dining experience.

The Whitehorse Inn was outstanding.  It was a quick booking due to another hotel not being up to par.  The Whitehorse was a hole in one. From the moment Ash greeted us we  enjoyed the stay.  I highly recommend this hotel/Inn.

Perfectly located for Stonehenge, Avebury, and Bath. William was brilliant all around

James and Sam made me feel very welcome. The rooms were very comfortable, but the bathroom needs a deep clean. Very black around shower which I good scrub could get rid of.

Very nice stay, excellent evening meal. Sloping ceiling in the bedroom gave me a few head bumps, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful bed and breakfast tucked away in the beautiful countryside.  Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious.  Room was spacious, clean, and quiet.  Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway to the country.

I only stayed for one night but the room was excellent as was the en-suite bathroom.  There is an excellent dining menu and the breakfast was first class.  I could not fault it.

A very welcoming establishment with fantastic food. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were superb.  We felt very comfortable and relaxed there thanks to the very hospitable staff. The value for money was excellent and we would definitely return.

All the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good and freshly made, decent beer and a relaxed vibe. Nice rural village, and a decent room. I didn't realise when I booked that it was a bath with no shower, and being over six foot, I could not stand up in the bath and use the spray attachment because of the low-sloping roof - but I still enjoyed the stay

Friendly staff and good food

The White Horse is quite a find, set in a beautiful quiet village. Our room was very comfortable with high quality oak furniture. The owners and staff were very welcoming. We had the most wonderful dinner and it is clear the chef has great knowledge of ingredients and flavours. It was extremely difficult to choose from the menu of amazing sounding dishes and our meal was an absolute delight. There was good selection of wine and local real ale. Breakfast was equally tasty and we left the White Horse promising ourselves a return visit in the near future. Highly recommend a stay here or just go for a meal, you will not be disappointed.

If you are looking for a quiet retreat ,this is the place for you . We had a really enjoyable two nights here . The staff were great ,friendly and polite .The food was good but I thought expensive .People from London would think it a bargain . Regional differences account for that . Therefore I feel a bit mean mentioning the broken toilet seat , and balcony doors that didn’t shut properly . The manager assured me that these issues would be sorted out .So thing will be ok if you decide to stay.

A great short break in the middle of the countryside.  Beautiful hotel in an ideal location.The room was perfect for our needs.  The staff were ultra friendly and helpful.I would highly recommend eating here too.  The food is absolutely gorgeous from the hearty breakfast to the amazing evening menu - try the 'Orio' desert if it is an option on your visit - quite possibly the best desert we have tried.Lovely hotel, cannot recommend it enough.
