Had the most gorgeous experience in Harspa as my daughter’s bought me a facial for Mother's Day. The lovely Alice was professional and friendly when she greeted me in reception then treated me to the most blissful facial which included massage of shoulders, arms, hands and head. Alice was respectful of my request for a quiet experience and this was probably the best facial experience I’ve ever had…and I’ve had a few. Fabulous!

This is our second time here, and we throughly  enjoyed ourselves. We had a warm welcome from Tammy at the front desk on arriving and were very happy to were staying in the same room as our last visit.
Naz was superb in the restaurant area and was friendly and welcoming.
Alice at the Half Spa was excellent for my partner and myself.We both had very good relaxing massages and look forward to come here again for another massage.
The room we stayed in is comfortable and spacious, especially the bed.


I stayed at the Harbour Hotel over the bank holiday weekend with a friend. A bit of a girls trip / treat including Spa treatments, cocktails and dinner. I want to give credit where credit is due toTammy (I do hope I have the spelling right) on reception. Nothing was too much trouble, Tammy went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best experience. she personally introduced us to a lovely guy from the bar who made the most amazing cocktails, she helped to organise parking, rather than pointing to where we needed to go Tammy came and personally guided us. so warm, friendly and professional. there were weddings on the Friday and Saturday so the hotel was busy, still the staff could not do enough. we have a note on the bed apologising if the wedding caused any disruption to our stay advising on the time the music would finish and to be honest we did not even hear it. The room was beautiful and spotless, so credit to house keeping this is not an easy job. The treatments we had in the spa were the best, lovely lovely lovely.... overall I would highly recommend this hotel. As a family we are staying in the Guildford Harbour Hotel to celebrate my Daughters birthday and I just hope we have as good of an experience there too. Again thank you Tammy if it were up to me you would win a customer service award. xxx

I have to stay in Chichester due to work 3/4 times a year and wouldn't go anywhere else! I have stayed in many hotels but this one just has something special. You are always greeted with a smile and a helpful member of staff (Normally lovely Tammy on the front desk!) then when you open the magical doors to your room the worlds biggest and most comfortable bed welcomes you! The spa and gym facilities are excellent and perfect for long stays, The Ship Restaurant and Bar staff are lovely and so accommodating, particularly Ewan who always went out of his way to make my fussy breakfast order perfect. 
Parking on road is nice and easy from 5:30pm-9am and the location is perfect to get in or out of the town quick. 
Eve and Megan made my working dinner alone lovely and friendly and went above and beyond to find me a quiet spot. This is such a must stay for anyone looking for sophisticated, quality and Classy accommodation. 
My absolute favourite part is the complimentary Gin in the room!

This hotel is lovely in many ways. The room was well equipped and tastefully decorated with nice little touches, the bed was comfy and it was quiet, got woken up by a pigeon gently cooing outside the slightly open window! The bathroom was quite small but had everything.  The shower gel smelled amazing, I loved the shower but my partner is 6’3 and had to bend his knees as it’s quite low. We had dinner and 2 breakfasts during our stay, all the food was scrumptious and the bar had a good selection of drinks, discovered Mozart chocolate liqueur, that’s a keeper. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. I hope we can come back for another stay soon.

Our room was large, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, but so high that I could hardly get into it! The staff are all very helpful. Breakfast and Dinner were all wonderful. We were also lucky enough to have good weather. All in all a brilliant weekend stay.

Can’t think of anything that wasn’t really good from the moment we arrived until we left five days later. Excellent location and service, with a clean, comfortable room and tasty, well-cooked meals. As for the staff, there was nothing they wouldn’t do to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Huge thanks.

A very pleasant experience. It all worked perfectly for us. This hotel is in an elegant period building in historic Chichester. Just a charming town. We had a lovely room with a very generous bathroom and wonderful walk in shower. I think we have lost interest in climbing into baths to use the shower. The room was nicely fitted out with no evidence of wear and tear. We happened to pick a sweltering September day and night. The sash window opened to a stop and there was a robust and quiet fan that seemed to do its stuff. No aircon, but then I have a wobble about windows that don't open and noisy or useless aircon. That is worse than useless if it is hot. The hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was part of the deal and good. There is adequate parking, keeping in mind this is a town centre site. I didn't mind a tenner for the night. We didn't eat in the restaurant. The website and reviews didn't wow us enough, for whatever reason. Instead, we opted to pop out and sat outside at a pavement restaurant.  I would say this is a good call for a night or two in Chichester. Nice people and good service as well. I don't think the hotel was particularly busy so can't vouch for the experience if it was working at full tilt. We're fans.

I have been to the Spa for treatments now a few times and had pedicures with Alice. My nails look amazing and Alice does wonderful work. She is also really lovely to spend time with and is patient and kind.

Visited the Spa for the first time and won’t be the last, great location, lovely and clean with fantastic service. I was really impressed with the whole experience and special mention to Alice the therapist who was superb. I will be back for sure.

What a lovely town Chichester is. 

We spent the day wandering around Portsmouth dockyard then made our way to the hotel. The first room we had was very dark and the window looked out in scaffolding. We asked to change but not until the morning as we were tired. The next room was much better but the next room was much better even though the window wouldn't stay open. As in all harbvour hotels, the rooms are tiny and there is no room to sit and relax. Even though there are two chairs and a table you can't actually use them. The only storage space for cases was on the wardrobe and there was only room in the wardrobe for the 4 hangers in it. It is fine for an overnight or a weekend but as we discovered in another harbour hotel, this is NOT the place for a weeks stay.

Shower was good, bed was comfortable and it was all clean and well maintained 

The hotel is very conveniently situated for all amenities in Chichester

Dinner on the first night was excellent and a special thanks to Alex for some wonderful cocktails 

Bar staff and restaurant staff were excellent and Chichester itself exceeded our expectations - a great little town

Best Hotel in West Sussex!

A lovely weekend break

Unassuming from the outside, this is a nice little gem tucked away at the end of the high street. 

My friends and I were served by Heath at the bar, very friendly and was able to advise  me and my friends on where to visit locally. Also the drinks were great!

The armchairs available make for a more relaxed environment, but was very warm when we were there. Staff were able to turn the temperature down which was great.

A lovely experience in a fine period building in central Chichester

We stayed at this hotel in 2020 for our anniversary and decided to return as we really enjoyed our last stay.

I spoke to Craig when booking and he was very friendly and informative. On arrival, all the staff were very friendly and happy to help with any requests. We had a couple of minor issues with our room but these were swiftly sorted out.
Rooms have all been refurbished in the last couple of years, we were upgraded to a superior room and it was very comfortable. The bed was HUGE and there were all the amenities that we needed. 

We stayed on a Sunday so decided to go for the roast dinner and boy was it good (although the potatoes could have been softer/fluffier). I had the beef and it’s probably the best I’ve had on a meal out. 

Breakfast was just as good with a large selection to choose from.

We loved our stay at the Harbour Hotel and will definitely return in the future!

Romantic anniversary getaway

Good place to stay for a weekend away. The hotel is very central and so there is plenty to see on the doorstep. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We had great massages in the Spa. The room was ok but describing it as the best in the hotel rather over sold it. Getting to it was a challenge - it really does need an accessibility warning. It is  up and down two and a half flights of stairs and many corridors. It does have a sofa but in an alcove only 5 foot high.   The “fine views over the city centre” could only be appreciated by kneeling on the floor to look out of the window. There are no drawers for clothes. Breakfast was inconsistent - poor one day, excellent the next.
