We had a really good time staying in this cottage. It was so cosy, very clean & well equipped.
Such a great location for visiting lots of local places like Chatsworth House, Bakewell, Buxton , Heights of Abraham at Matlock Bath.
On arrival , we were pleased to find bread, jam & even oat milk ( we had informed our hosts that we were vegan) plus a bottle of wine.
Would definitely recommend this cottage as a perfect place to stay . Pretty location too.

What more could you want from a B & B? Has it all. Rooms with fantastic views, knowledgeable and genuinely friendly owners, nice decor and a tasty, well-presented breakfast from local produce. Wished we'd planned better to stay for more than one night.

Great location, friendly hosts, wonderful breakfast

A walking group of 9, we can't fault the cottage. Very clean, warm, good facilities, comfortable beds and fresh linen. Could not ask for more. Waking up to fantastic views and easy access to the 3 peaks. Sheep looking through the window and chicken coming for a visit just add to the experience. But don't worry about any noise, the thick walls and solid doors mean it's a very quiet place to stay.

Quality at a good price with exceptional views

The house was exceptional - very clean, looked like it had been recently refurbished, the owner was incredibly helpful, overall a great experience. The one thing that i would warn about is the driveway, we had one very low car and it struggled a bit on the driveway, but that's what you get for taking a silly car with you! There were piglets there when we visited and the owner sent a youtube clip so we could see them before we arrived! The kitchen was really well equipped, and the dining room table was a beautiful space to sit in with stunning views. All the beds were really comfortable with crisp linens on. Would definitely come to stay again.

Could not recommend this house enough!

This is great accomodation, well maintained, clean and warm in the heart of a valley outside Ingelton. The location is superb, far enough out to feel you are on your own but close enough to drive to town in 10 minutes. The children loved it, feeding the pigs and the chickens and walking down to the stepping stones over the river. We went for a family birthday, 11 of us, there was loads of room and very comfy accomodation. The kitchen is modern and clean with loads of space to eat , all of us sat together. We loved the location and the accomodation. We highly recommend it.

An excellent family holiday

Our stay in this fabulous farm house was wonderful, an ideal location to meet- we were a group of friends from around the UK. The farm house was great for this large gathering, and sleeps 12 in comfort. We found all rooms ensuite & fitted out to a high spec, lovely comfy beds - all with spectacular views of the stunning countryside. Spotlessly clean and tastfully decorated, again to a high standard.
The large dining room and kitchen (well equipping) also had spectacular views across the valley through floor to ceiling panoramic windows, and a woodburning stove for chilly days, we felt very lucky to stay here.
The surrounding farm fields had free roaming Kunekune pigs, friendly and talkative sorts of pigs, very cute, along with sheep and chickens.
The farm house was great for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park - Ingleton falls, the Ribble viaduct and three peaks- Ingleton, Whernside and Penygent plus white scar caves, fab location. 
Very much hope to stay here again and can highly recommend. Thank you Simon and Judith.

Outstanding farmhouse in the stunning surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales National Park

We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted by friendly Judith and shown to our room which was the Ingleton.Whilst we were settling in Judith made us a pot of tea and explained all about the their animals, the kune kune pigs, sheep and chickens. The kune kune pigs were so cute especially the runt of the litter.

We were in the area for a wedding and stayed for two nights. Our room was beautiful,a comfortable double bed with ensuite, all very modern and very tastefully decorated.Tea and coffee making facilities were provided in our room complete with biscuits.

The breakfast provided was superb, Judith and Simon's award winning sausages and eggs, along with bacon, mushroom and tomatoes. Toast and cereals and other options were also available.

All in all we had a wonderful two night stay and would thoroughly recommend Dale Farm. It is in a lovely setting with marvelous views, beautifully presented and run by a lovely couple who do everything to ensure you have an excellent stay. We shall certainly be returning.
