Sue met us and showed us to the room, very friendly and relaxed. Also covid aware. Location was great, best sleep, peaceful. Hubby loved cooked breakfast especially silly the sausages. I’m veggie and Sue was very accomadating. Fresh fruit and cereal every day. 
Location great, loved the walk to the centre of Bo’ness. Parking onsite.  WiFi worked great, useful to for getting info about the area and what to see and do.  
Just wonder were sue gets those sausages from? .

We were met by Sue who showed us to our room with a lot of good information nothing too much trouble. The room was comfortable and clean .Ali made a great breakfast and the best scrambled egg just how I like wet, got to say also Sue also did a good breakfast and scrambled egg.Sue was always up for a chat when we saw her in the morning.We would definitely recommend to anyone visiting area and we will be returning it’s so close to everywhere. Thanks for great stay see you again

Room was clean and ensuite. Bed comfy, covid safe, continental breakfast served in room was delicious, knew it was like this when booked. 
Downside for some maybe that the WiFi went down, not to us as we were getting away for a break. 
Short down hill walk into the centre of Bowness. 
Bank Holiday, recommended to book in to places to eat as very busy here.
Recommend walk across the ferry to beatrix potter House (need to book) 
Boat trip to Ambleside and day hopping on and off the buses to Grasmere, windermere and Kendal. Bus stop right outside the guest House.

Loved our trip to the old courthouse. Great location. Friendly management who couldn't do enough for us during our stay. Clean rooms and great amenities. Will stay again when the world is back to normal

We had 2 nights at The Old Court House, Sue was welcoming and her continental breakfast was lovely and fresh, delivered to your door! Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect, down the hill 5 minutes to Bowness and a nice walk uphill to Windermere. We liked it here! Thanks Sue!

We had a great time and excellent breakfast & clean and good and nice owner. Very happy to stayed in here. Breakfast every morning was fresh and greatly chatting and nice people around soo happy to stayed

Lovely little b&b . Stayed for 4 nights  and would definitely like to go back. Set just off the main road( bus stop right  outside), it is only 10 minute walk to the edge of the lake. The room was clean ,nicely decorated and had a very comfy bed. The dining room  is not currently in use due to covid (like many others) but breakfast is delivered  to your room. 
Lovely lady running the place, very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. She told us of a lovely walk up the hill to Windermere,  off the beaten track, which was beautiful,  quiet and had a waterfall to see.
So glad we chose this little gem

We have just stayed at the Old Courthouse for the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Cannot fault it at all. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. We had a twin room which was made up as a super king. The bed was very comfortable. I took ill on our second day and spent the whole day and night in the room. Luckily the TV is great and has Netflix and as I said the bed very comfy. It is in a great location close to all on offer in Bowness on Windermere. Car parking available, bit if a tight squeeze but it wasnt a problem. The breakfast was really nice and quality produce used. Sue was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable- the perfect host. Would definitely stay again. 

We both had a nice stay here, the hospitality was great and they were always very welcoming and helpful, the breakfasts were lovely and the room was a good size, warm and cosy. It is also literally round the corner from all the pubs, restaurants and the lake itself which was great, thanks for a great stay! 

I have stayed at this lovely guest house several times over the last few years with my mum. 
It is in a fantastic spot within walking distance to Lake Windermere and central to all the bars and restaurants. 
The guest house is warm, cosy and clean and Sue the Manager is wonderful. Always so welcoming and makes the best breakfasts! Delicious!

First trip to the lakes

Right in the heart of Bowness close to all amenities, rooms spotlessly clean, management so helpful and friendly. The only downside was there was no cooked breakfast due to current covid restrictions, however the continental breakfast with hot croissants was superb, would definitely recommend for a fabulous stay

Nice and cosy place 

Just had a lovely couple of nights here. Perfect location, off road parking. The room was comfortable and clean. Coffee and tea filled up so a cuppa was always available. Lovely lady Sue made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble and she can make a great breakfast! Told us about a great woodland walk to get to Windermere. Thanks Sue.
