The worst place I've stayed in my life, hasn't seen a vacuum. Felt like a cell, very grubby and depressing and cold, no proper heating, no soap, only 1 teabag. Didnt even book this Hotel, it's a con, given false information. Need Trading Standards involved. You shouldn't pay for something you haven't booked for. Don't know how they get away with it.

This is the most dirtiest dingy hole i have ever been to ..stayed 10 mins and left the property ....dont beleive what anyone has wrote about it being ok its a dump.the photos are not the hotel .we booked into 1 and was sign in window to ring a number someone came out told us we were staying nxt door  .rang told them we were leaving .nothing offerd no refund .rude arrogant woman.

Hell hole never ever go there

Me and my 2 brothers managed to get together enough money to do a night out in Bournemouth which we was all looking forward too (especially my eldest brother who has Aspergers, learning difficulties and a mental age of 12) when we arrived at the hotel we was instantly stared at with a really evil look by both the owner and the receptionist. We had the £20 security deposit ready to give to them and the owner said 'its £60 for you 3. £20 per person. We was understanding with this as thought we had read the conditions wrong. We went to the cash point a few doors up and withdrew the other £40. Went back with the money and I genuinely just queried why it was that our booking receipt only stated £20 for the room not £20 per person like he had stated, I stayed calm and didn't say anything out of line. He then asked for the card we had used to pay. He took it, refunded the money and basically turned us away. We decided to give them a call a short while after leaving to ask how we go about putting in a complaint. The reply we got was beyond extreme. I've never ever been spoken to like that by anyone. Unfortunately cant share exactly what he said on here but it was rather rude. We then called back to find out why. He then started calling us Coke Heads and Junkies. And said we was off our heads (we wasn't, would never ever go near anything like that) to accuse us of it was sick. He then started proceeding to take the mick out of my disabled brother finding it all rather funny. Have reported to the police and have put in a formal complaint. Will be going to trading standards on Monday with the recorded evidence we have from the phone calls. DONT EVER STAY HERE THE STAFF ARE BEYOND RUDE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE OTHER THEN HERE. THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN IN. WE WAS MADE TO FEEL THREATENED & INTIMIDATED BY THE OWNER!

WARNING - DONT EVER GO THERE

Didn’t like the hotel in general, not cosy not welcoming at all, struggled to get parked, creaking horrible bed, room cold until I put heating on ( it took a while), very basic, felt like a prisoner in a cell( I bet they even get better accommodation!). Blood stains on mattress, lack of pillows. Dreadful! Never again!

We dod try to chance room to no avail....

Avoid

Not meant for long stays, but for a weekend break close to the town centre, the BIC and the beach it was perfect for our needs.
Plain, simple no frills.
The rooms were clean, the staff very friendly (especially Anna, who was so helpful, and friendly and always smiling)
Breakfast was very good for the price we paid, plenty to eat and constantly being topped up.

if you expecting good standard for low price you be dissatisfied. We pay for 2 nights b&b £105. But you can see on pictures what we found in our room. The worst thing they said its freshly renovated.   I can tell for people with asthma definitely it's not for them hotel. Even stairs have crap carpet on 4th step in ground floor you can follow because it's not stick on to the step and look like step is missing. Strange but it is like that. Even in room missing bed side cabinets you have only small table with kettle and crap floor lamp. Over all room look like "shag room" just bed and table with old buld in wardrobe. Not nice place at all. Sadly but it's TRUE. and I saw other couple had same experience with this place. Main word in this place I think is Cheap Cheap Cheap!!!!

low price and very very low standard.Sad tired hotel

Bloody awful!!! Never have a seen such a messed up setup and omg the rooms can only be described as a prison cell (as I've seen in TV)...shocking!!!!! We had to get moved from caislebrook into here..I honestly cannot say which one is worse!!!!staff are friendly though that's the nicest thing I can say!

Holiday 

First of all we were not meant to be staying at this hotel, we were meant to be staying Carisbrooke hotel next door and at our arrival we were told we have to stay at Bonnington hotel due to the fact breakfast was served there? However this was never stated on the confirmation email!!!

We then went upto our room to find out it was an absolute sh*t hole. The tap was broken and came apart, the toilet seat was off, the blinds were snapped and the bed was awful. There were staines all over the walls and the smell of the shower smelt like fish and dirty food, the plug hole was also black. This is ridiculous!! The pictures on the website was misleading and did not look like the room we were provided with. It looked like a homeless shelter. We paid £125 for one night for this. I’d rather have slept outside. 

We went to reception to complain about this and the receptionists were useless, they told us the manager was not in until 10 am the next day ( baring in mind that would have been bank holiday Monday) believe it or not the manager never showed up. We were told nothing could be done about this and we had to stay in the room we were provided with. 

After our stay we emailed Bonnington hotel and booking.com to state that we were falsely advertised and wanted a refund due to the state of our room. The reply we got from the manager at Bonnington hotel was that he had checked CCTV and “ we looked happy” whilst walking back to our room and making us out to be liars. 

Never again should anyone return to this miss leading hotel it is a waste of time and breakfast was awful too. I could smell it whilst having a shower. Not impressed Bonnington. Sort your rooms out .

Awful stay!!!! NEVER COME

I booked a hotel room at the Carisbrooke for a night's stay. The pictures on the Internet looked clean and very well presented so I went ahead and booked my stay. On arrival we we was told we had been moved to the Bonnington hotel. This was not mentioned in my confirmation email the day before arrival. 

We checked in and went to our room and from there was when our stay was pretty much ruined. The room was awful and nothing like what we had booked. The beds were broken, bedding didn't fit the beds so mattress was on show, the toilet seat was broken, hot water tap was broken and was hanging out of the sink, the shower leaked, the room had damp, kettle was broken, the blinds were broken with parts missing, no wardrobe just a flimsy canvas shelving unit which was ripped, the whole room was filthy. 
We went down to reception and raised all issues with them. They were not apologetic and said there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to the manager but was told the manager wasn't on site. False advertisement!! 

When I finally was able to raised my complaint with the manager over email, he was rude and a complete liar. He did not care about our complaints and nothing has been done to compensate us.

I’m basing this hotel based on the cost as that does need to be taken into account.

I felt for the cost, it is good value for money. Some of the rooms looked more tired than others but if you just want a clean room and bathroom, with basic facilities and a bed then you are fine here. An extra pillow would be appreciated and maybe a fan if it gets too hot would be welcome. 

Didn’t even breakfast. 

Location brilliant as you are close to everything. 

Parking for £5 a day is decent given the surrounding options but very limited and I wasn’t able to get a space. 

Staff nice enough.
