Lale Park Mini-Hotel

My daughter and I have just spent 3 glorious weeks as guests of the Lale Park family. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the atmosphere of friendship that is created at this small hotel. In our 3 weeks, we made friends with people from all over the world - Holland, Sweden, USA, Belgium and Turkey. This hotel creates an environment where everybody says good morning to each other at breakfast (which is home-made Turkish food and the most delicious food you can imagine-I am missing the aubergine and cheese rolls!), you can chat and relax in the seated area in the lush garden (we had lots of fun, nationalities joining together to play card games in the evening) and it is the only traditional hotel in Antik Side with a pool. The rooms are small but everything is clean and we managed to live there for 3 weeks! The beds are really comfortable, shower was great and there is a good hairdryer too. The family go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and stress free as possible and help with dolmus advice, excursion advice and order taxis for you. I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you want the real feel of Turkish hospitality and not one of the ugly big hotels that are bumper to bumper in the new part of Side.
